as the resident cub fan do you think you could give me like a basic rundown of what cub's been up to this season? I mainly only know that he took over the permit office at some point

hi hello!!! yes i can :D

in a very cub-typical fashion, he was very deadly in demise 2 and got early-game stuff done quickly. he helped grian with the permits and very happily complied with the permit rules from the beginning. fireworks and goat horns have been a big thing this season for cub bc of his permits! he made custom fireworks and horns for each hermit :] because his fireworks (and now his base too) need a Lot of diamonds, he did quite a lot of mining science to figure out what's the most efficient method to mine for them. somewhere around this time he started covering his base in sculk. with the deepslate he got from mining he built a huge (torture) labyrinth in joe's area. scar spent 5 hours in the labyrinth on his birthday while cub watched and tried to cheer him on. enrichment for the both of them... after the labyrinth was done, he took over the permit office and started to get things moving in the shopping district. he initiated the pop-up purge (or the great pp event like scar called it) and shop month to get people building proper shops for their permits and later initiated the permit reaping with scar and grian to get back unused permits. he's been fighting against no-poe with pro-permit propaganda and now he's trying to get people who aren't complying with permit rules exiled

what's up with the sculk? the Lore with cub's base this season is that sculk is pushing through the ground into the surface, bringing all kinds of minerals and stuff up with it. he's currently working on building walls around his square base area where the sculk will be contained. i don't think he has explained why exactly the sculk is coming up, which is pretty ominous

i think that's the most important stuff? he's built a lot of farms and some minigames, done some pranks and experiments, and other cool stuff. he's also in the fight club! (but we don't talk about the fight club 🤫) the no-poe really wants him exiled so perhaps that will be coming soon. cub is not an easy person to kill or trick though, so we'll see :P
