I know you mainly focus on Fugo (+ Giorno), but do you have any thoughts on Mista in PHF or in general?

Honest to god mista probably has my favourite design out of any jojos character the colours and mix of prints is just so perfect

I liked mista in golden wind but i do think phf did give his character another dimension, it displays his ideas of loyalty to a much more extreme degree as he is willing to kill fugo for his betrayal. This especially shows the level of respect he has for the rest of the team especially bucciarati which i feel isnt rlly shown thru the show/manga. I also dont see him as the type to bow down to giorno, as in the extra chapter of phf he was aiming to kill giorno as he blames him for the deaths of his whole team. That extra chapter rlly solidifies the fact that he isnt just a silly guy and does have strong loyalties to people who have helped him .

I also love the gimmick that he is uber lucky but to what extent when he is the sole survivor from his old team, it mustve impacted his superstition to a whole other level

Also the fight with ghiaccio is one of the best in the series

I really love your art, it makes me very inspired & motivated everytime i see you posting something new!! I wanted to ask if you have any favorite artists etc. that influenced your artstyle??

Thanks so much!! Im glad my art can inspire u , ive always really loved Gustav Klimts art i feel like he captures the human form so beautifully. as well as pre-raphealite painters who focus on depicting figures in taboo ways (easily done during the victorian era lol) i also love medieval iconography in churches/stained glass windows - honestly a lot of my art is inspired by religious imagery. Another odd source of inspo is victorian surgery paintings and illustrations- its always interesting to see how they depict internal anatomy with such restricted knowledge on medicine. And i look at a lot of modern medical textbooks, i just find the internal workings so interesting even if it is slightly odd

Hi, I love your art! Do you have any fugio headcanons/ideas/etc you don’t really mention? You have such a cool way of portraying them.

Thank you so much!! An idea i dont see many ppl talk abt is how other characters (shelia e and murolo) hold giorno in a godlike regard and like he is completely unobtainable, whereas fugo would never be able to do this as he is all too aware of giornos mortality (thanks to purple haze) and had previously interacted with him before he became don. Fugo sees giorno as an equal to himself but not as a mirror (as characters like shelia e state giornos a mirror and will reflect back whatever a persons own inhibitions are) this allows him to have a more nuanced and realistic view of the fact that despite the way he presents himself, giorno is very much human. fugo probably holds a hostile bias towards giorno and himself for the fate of the gang. both are guilty in his eyes therefore giorno cannot be perfect as his hands are just as bloodstained as fugos (also the implication that fugos family are catholic helps to solidify the fact that fugo could never truly believe in a perfect martyr- as he had been rejected by his family and lost all faith of religion)

I think although simple, fugo holding giorno in an equal regard to himself would make fugo more endearing to giorno as he would not fade into the mundanity of the rest of passione (as we know giorno hates boring/usless things) , and actually treats giorno as though he is human (effectively fugo is so blunt he breaks through the years of barriers giorno has built around himself) giorno would probably appreciate fugos basic nature to disagree with him on matters surrounding passione instead of the usual ass-kissing, i can imagine that giorno would enjoy fugos neurotic nature in juxtaposition with his own serenity

On the whole i think they both need the emotional support of another traumatised teenager to level eachothers peculiarities out

I also think fugo would tutor giorno as its mentioned in phf that giornos enrolling into school again!
