2018 World Cup Countdown List 💛🌍⚽️
Just in case you missed it: Here’s 13 Black footballers you should look out for while watching this year’s World Cup!
Some players you may know of and are quite familiar with while others can completely new to you as most of them will enter the World Cup their very first time! As the World Cup starts today, I wish them all the luck in the world on their journey in Russia! 💛

Day One: Kylian Mbappé 🌀
Let’s start off with a player that’s already becoming a football star in his own right.
Day Two: Fahad Al-Muwallad 🌱
A little unknown to the mainstream world of football but his goal is the reason why Saudi Arabia is competing in the World Cup this year.
Day Three: Dávinson Sánchez 💎
He’s definitely the new and well-accomplishment centre-back defender you need to pay attention this summer.
Day Four: Gabriel Jesus 💫
Almost exactly four years ago, he was painting the streets of Brazil for the 2014 World Cup. Now, he’s become the player everyone will be cheering for while wearing the iconic number 9 jersey.
Day Five: Pione Sisto 💯
A hardworking Uganda-bornDanish winger who might make it big in Russia.
Day Six: Sadio Mané 🦁
A huge Senegalese talent and a key player to both Liverpool and the Teranga Lions.
Day Seven: Alex Iwobi 🐉
A hopeful Arsenal youth who is confident that Nigeria has a chance to win big at the World Cup this year.

Another 19 year old kid who’s competing in the World Cup for his very first time.

He will be the youngest Swiss player playing in the World Cup this year.

A well-known favorite with a story full of tragedies and triumphs.
Day Eleven: Ousmane Dembélé 🙆🏾♂️
His fellow countryman, Kylian Mbappé, even has called him “the best young player in the world”.
Day Twelve: Antonio Rüdiger ⚜️
This German defender is a lively force both in the locker room and on the field.
Day Thirteen: Román Torres 🗣
Standing at six feet and two inches and weighing at 195 pounds, he is the 2018 World Cup’s heaviest player and Panama’s remarkable Captain.

feel really bad for Saka to be honest, seeing him break down, because a 19 year old shouldn't have been forced under that kind of pressure. There were players in the lineup that are penalty takers for their own team that could have and should have been given the responsibility.
