That’s the composition i’ve seen many times (any sku fan draws at least one work with such a concept), but i still wanted to render them this way. Accuracy is still not as precise as i’d like it to be, but it’s still something (and we’re slowly getting there - my hands are still shaking when i try to master lines though). I wanted peaceful expressions, cause that’s the moment they actually feel right (and complementing each other).

It was supposed to be three or four random ideas on monochromatic themes but then I thought might as well do a whole rainbow (which had to be seven because I like it better than six and that meant pink was also in since I like to spite Newton and not do indigo ever… though now I feel bad for indicolite) 

In order - Garnet, quartz/agate, wulfenite, peridot, euclase, polybasite and morganite.

This one was a little bit more challenging to do than I thought it would be – and that was mostly in all the detail (RIP) ,as well as figuring out ways to adapt a Klimt-esque look to Howl. It was really tempting to put him in his pink jacket since it lends itself to rectangular form so well. However I just had to go and make things difficult for myself… because I love his transformed version!
