As an African-American Ph.D. Candidate in U.S. History, I often found myself frustrated and unhappy at many of my experiences with racism, sexism and classism in my grad program. Nobody seemed to get it; nobody understood what I was going through. In my 4th year, I decided instead to turn the tables and make fun of all of those experiences through this tumblr. I couldn't find any comedic relief on the black grad student struggle, so I created my own. It is my hope that this will provide some comic relief, inspiration, and proof your experiences are not just a figment of your imagination. Enjoy!
