A collection of written works written by yours truly (and possibly others). Through a series of unfortunate events (no pun intended) that may or may not be apparent in these posts, has led me to start writing poetry. Over time and sharing with few individuals, I decided to put my work on a slightly larger platform and together in one place. I hope that it does something for you like it has for me. Or that you even remotely like it. Then again, that doesnt really matter. However, I am always welcome to constructive critism because that is how we grow and become better.... Thanks for reading. - TG

the best thing that we can do right now to fight for abortion rights is donating to your local abortion fund, especially in states with “trigger laws” or laws that will immediately take harsh measures to shut down abortion rights as soon as roe is overturned. If you don’t know your local abortion fund or states with trigger laws, here’s one in Texas, one in Louisiana, one in Georgia, one in West Virginia and one in Mississippi (all states with such “trigger laws”). There’s so many more beyond the handful i just listed here but times like these are the time to donate and support the incredible work that these organizations do for their communities.

I have so many drafts....such is life lol....
But for now let's work on these drafts
The problem mostly being I wrote them during moments of intensity and when I don't feel that anymore, my writing feels inauthentic...

its all my fault
I wasnt good enough
maybe Im not good enough
enough…
enough…
ENOUGH.
…
I WISH I WERE AS STRONG
AS THESE CAPS LOCKS
BOLD
AND
STRONG
EVEN WHEN
WAVERED
my thoughts once read
like spastic yarn on a
heart monitor
…
…
…
the silence concerns me
I have died.
everything has DIED.

Why is it I tend too fold so easily?
I swear, I promise I’m made of steel
Of barbed wire, of iron bars,
Of strong and solid things
But…I fold…easily…
May it be the feline inside
Because I don’t know how many
Lives I have because
Curiosity???
Never kills but wounds
Wounds so deep that death would be
A welcome embrace but…
Nah curiosity keeps these wounds
Fresh and bleeding long after
The feeling fleets
And the heart beats
Steady as the beating drum
Then quick as sand that falls through
The coke bottle glass
And then, I fold…
Not as delicately as oragami
Precise and perfect
Fold like wet paper
Like
toilet paper clumps thrown up
to the ceiling of my
heart telling me yes
yes do the things they tell you not to
and when they dry up and fall to the floor…
the floor of my mind who
was always there telling my heart
no, dont do it so when they fell
it was my mind to say
I. Told. You. So.
but even with the four letter words
waning above me like clouds in the sky of my mind
i continue to fold…
regretfully,
though with my most ernest and honest intentions…

I knew it.
I knew you'd let me down
Just like the ones before you
Sure I may have had a hand
Or a few:
Doubt.
Fear.
Scepticism.
Insecurity.
I thought I could let my gang go
My RoD's
Introduced to me by several men and boys over the years
Like a warm blanket sad and reliable, we knew each other well
Then came you.
ripping me from familiarity and warmth
Drowning me, dragging me into the deep dark depths of some scary unknown within myself.
Within you.
Us.
My eyes started to adjust to the dark
I felt around for a while starting to find my way
It was...nice...
All of a sudden I was blinded by my friends and their flashlights shinning down
Doubt and insecurity were always together holding hands
Sceptism following happily skipping right along
And then fear with a big vague smile.
Fuck.
I like you guys. I do...
Or so I thought...
Fuck you guys. You suck and are not welcome!
The words never leave my lips but stay caged behind my teeth.
We swim back to the tragically familiar surface and lazily float along the surface of my lonely soul...
Hoping and longing to drown in us once again...
