Our dinner tonight for visiting Mayan students. Catered by Claire Sohkihkini-Roth. Hosted by the BDL, the international student centre & University of Lethbridge Library here at the UofL. We showed them the film Re-Learning The Land and had a good discussion afterwards about indigenous learning and Blackfoot learning practices. The students got to taste buffalo, berry soup & fry bread as part of their meal. They were all very impressed with the food and it was super yummy!!

I just received this beautiful gift of a book and movie from Tamarack Valley Energy Ltd. they did a research project with Chief Roy Fox called “Iitaapiskoo Our Sacred Reminders”. I will have the movie on the site as soon as I can. Thank you Chief Roy Fox & Tamarack Valley Energy for this beautiful gift and for sharing it with the Blackfoot Digital Library!!
