Hello Everyone,

I am Momen Al Madhoun, 35 years old, a graphic design from gaza, my wife Nour Al Madhoun 30 years old, a computer engineer, We are two self-made people united by a love of work, ambition, and self-development. We used to work remotely in programming and design. We had a cozy home that we built hand by hand, stone by stone.

Ezzdeen my big son was 7 when the war started now he is 8 years old and suffering from huge weight loss because he is very picky in his food, we try to buy him the food he accept but it is hard in our situations, Ameer my little son was 5 and now he is 6, he supposed to be at his first year at school now but what he forced to live is very diffirent!

Today after a whole year of displacement and the harsh suffering we are still living in this genocide in Gaza.

After our many attempts to survive, we actually survived, but it was only the survival of the body, the soul and the psychological health for me, my husband and my two children did not survive! Even the body survived apparently, but it is very weak due to the famine and the suffering in obtaining food and drink.

As the conflict escalates, our access to food, clean water, and basic necessities has dwindled. Everyday here is like a battle, not just with death surrounding us everywhere, but against huner and despair.

Today, after more than a year of living under the genocide, losing everything in our lives. More than a year of patience on famine and suffering and trying to overcome difficulties to survive, A whole year full of WHERE DO WE GO? what is our fault? what is our kids fault?

We are exhausted and need your help, I came to you today after all this patience with a heavy heart, asking for help! My family needs your help to survive

Hello everyone, I am Mohammed Hassouna from the northern Gaza Strip, displaced in Alnusayrat, and living in a tent with my family.😢🥺

My family and I are living through unimaginably harsh conditions due to the ongoing war in Gaza. We have lost our home, my livelihood, and our sense of security. Today, we find ourselves in a small tent, struggling to survive each day amidst the destruction and chaos. We face a shortage of food and water, and we don't know what tomorrow holds for us. Before the war, I worked as a graphic designer, striving to build a better future for my family. But everything I built collapsed before our eyes. Now, we are desperately searching for safety and a new chance at life. We need your support to raise funds to escape Gaza and start over in a place where we can finally find peace. My life before the war was filled with hope and aspirations—and today, I only wish to regain that hope for my family.

Our home, which was once a symbol of hope, has now become rubble and shattered walls. After I had just finished building it, I believed it would be our safe haven, but the war suddenly destroyed everything. The air was filled with the sounds of explosions, and I had to flee with my family, carrying only what we were wearing. Where our dreams and memories once thrived, there is now nothing but devastation.

Israel had pushed Palestinians into the sea. Literally.

After several displacement orders, @amalashuor and her family found themselves in a tent on the shores of Gaza.

In the screenshot above she's updating me about the worst day of her life as she describes it. Just two days ago, the waves crashed into their tent while they slept, and swept them into the sea. They miraculously managed to pull their daughter and get out of the water alive.

But this means that everything they own is now gone. They barely had the basic necessities to survive, now these are gone along with their tent.

It is getting extremely cold in Gaza and food prices are astronomical. Donations are going to go into getting Amal and her family a place to sleep and replace their clothes and buy food and formula for their daughter.

Please, please help in any way you can. I urge you to share this here and outside of tumblr and tell Amal's story as it is one of millions of similar stories in Gaza.

Please give Amal a sense of hope in the midst of this tragedy:
