Being trans doesn’t exclude you from criticism, absolutely not, but try thinking about where this shit is all coming from, what the people’s intentions are, and the resulting responses. The last couple months Ethel Cain has been bombarded with harassment doxxing her and her family, comments calling her a tranny and a man, even her Spotify being hacked to label her a pedophile and an incest fetishist and it’s still going on now that some 40 year old tradwife married to a MAGA transphobe has randomly decided to direct all her unhinged stans to hate her.

This isn’t just “petty drama” and you’re not just “holding her accountable” for horrid edgy shit she used to post, you’re actively partaking in the absolute most dangerous narratives possible against trans women right now and won’t accept this when it’s pointed out just because you don’t like her. You’re so ready to criticise her harmful behaviour but absolutely refuse to do the same to these people perpetuating blatant transmisogyny.

So it’s all very well saying “holding people accountable isn’t transphobic” but for God’s sake, actually fucking think about what’s happening.

Just saw a Reddit post where a girl’s boyfriend was getting annoyed by her sometimes sending him pictures of her dogs and all 5000 replies consisted of variations of “no he’s right, if you send more than one picture of your pets every 3 weeks you’re weird and annoying and I wouldn’t want to be around you”

If it was just a few ignorant pricks I could let it go — but we’re talking about 5000 comments with hundreds of upvotes. If you are genuinely this fucking miserable I think you should do yourself and everyone else a favour and either just go back to school starting from nursery so you can learn the absolute kindergarten-level basics of human compassion and social interaction, or just lock yourself in a cabin in the furthest recesses of the Arctic away from all of civilisation since you clearly hate the mere concept of being even remotely friendly with another person.
