Based on this post, but I not only need more fics where the villains see how much heroes are suffering and they say/think "I wanted to see you hurt. I wanted to defeat you. I wanted you to surrender to me- but this- this is not what I wanted. I did not want to see you shattered", but other type of fics.

Fics where there's no fight left in the hero. Fics where the hero is broken or depressed. Fic where the villain doesn't mock them for their pain or finish the fight, but kneels in front of them or holds out their hand and says "You never quit in a fight against me. Don't you dare quit now"

Bonus if in duos like Terry and Daniel, Kreese and Daniel, Peter and Scott, Luke and Percy, Henry and Eleven, Pitch and Jack, Gabriel and Adrien, Slade and Dick and Norman/Otto and Peter, the villain uses nicknames like "kid".
