In all odds, in my book Archer despite not being the main character, is very much regarded to be the "group leader".

I prefer "idea guy" more though. But when things start getting bad. They all look to him.

And Edwyn is his biggest hype man. So whenever someone disagrees with Archer, Edwyn has his back.

And what they say about Edwyn is, if he's there, you can find Rowan and Marshall close by.

Another little note to add to this. Pheobe did not intentionally out her brother. She was backed into a corner by their emotionally abusive parents, and it slipped.

She was just as scared that Rowan would hurt himself as Edwyn, but it was waay more difficult on her because Rowan didn't talk to her for a good couple months.

Edwyn being weary and skeptical is a result of his trauma, and he does eventually admit that he acted a little rude towards her considering the events of the situation. Him also being aware of it because he was her cover boyfriend.

The two reconcile eventually.

Edwyn is Rowan's boyfriend, and Rowan has a sister named Pheobe. Pheobe is a lesbian. Pheobe and Rowan's parents are VERY homophobic, so Edwyn is Pheobe's fake boyfriend cover story.

Pheobe outs Rowan to their parents, getting him kicked out. Ed goes over to "Rowan's" house to move some of his stuff, and glares at Pheobe the entire time.

At school the next week Pheobe asks why he didn't out her. Edwyn simply said "Because I'm a good person." And walked away.

This is a reminder that throughout the first and half the second book, Eli is in a very toxic/abusive relationship and when Edwyn finds him trying to hurt himself because of her, Edwyn's response was the following.

Fun oc fact: When Edwyn signs stuff he signs it Edwyn .P Rather than Edwyn .V.

He signs it with his middle name because he needs a signature from both biological parents to change his last name before he's 18, and Ed's bio mom chooses to fuck with Edwyn every chance she gets.
