I have a theory

This is my own silly little analysis on what we, the community, know about the Astral Bodies.

They are constellations given (somewhat) humanoid forms and are considered to be gods. They are said to be compiled of the 12 main zodiac signs. Their origins are still unknown, but in "Nebula COMFORTS Solar in VRChat" it is mentioned that two Astrals were "lost" to war.

This made me think. One was the second messanger to the Astrals, and the other was left unnamed.

Core ... and Cusp?

When Cetus was first introduced, I was confused. I did my own research to find where he originated from. Soon, I discovered the existence of "core and cusp" signs of the zodiacs.

Aries (Mar 30 to Apr 17) – Ram

Phoenix (Apr 18 to 28) – Phoenix

Taurus (Apr 29 to May 17) – Bull

Cuniculus (Lepus) (May 18 to 29) – Rabbit

Gemini (May 30 to June 18) – Twins

Cervus (Jun 19 to 29) – Deer

Cancer (Jun 30 – Jul 19) – Crab

Ursa (Major and Minor) (Jul 20 to 31) – Bear and Cub

Leo (Major and Minor) (Aug 1 to 20) – Lion and Cub

Canes (Aug 21 to 31) – Dog

Virgo (Sep 1 to 20) – A Maiden

Corvus (Sep 21 to 30) – Crow/Raven

Libra (Oct 1 to 21) – Scales

Lupus (Oct 22 to 31) – Wolf

Scorpio (Nov 1 to 20) – Scorpion

Ophiuchus (Nov 21 to 30) – Snake Charmer

Sagittarius (Dec 1 to 19) – Centaur

Vulpecula (Dec 20 to 29) – Fox

Capricorn (Dec 30 to Jan 17) – Sea Goat

Cygnus (Jan 18 to 27) – Swan

Aquarius (Jan 28 to Feb 18) – Water Bearer

Pegasus (Feb 19 to 29) – Pegasus

Pisces (March 1 to 19) – Twin Fish

Cetus (March 20 to 29) – Whale

I put the dates in just to see what zodiac you would be if you landed on any cusp sign.

But here, we can see "Corvus" which is a Crow/Raven constellation. My theory is that the unnamed Astral that was lost to war was Corvus, otherwise known as Kerian. I believe that their is a hierarchy among the Astral Bodies.

1. Core Astrals (Libra, Taurus, etc.)

2. Cusp Astrals (Corvus, Cetus etc.)

3. Servitude Astrals (Nebula)

4. Lunar lol

Maybe this is why Corvus chose to join the Dark Stars after losing to them in battle because he was seen as a second-class citizen.

Speaking of Dark Stars, Cetus. I like to believe that the Astral Bodies are tied to their Greek origins. Many of the constellations are tied to Hercules. Cetus was a giant sea monster slain by both Hercules and Perseus. His origins further solidify his evil nature (not that it needs to be proved).

I AM GOING OUT ON A MASSIVE LIMP RN BUT LISTEN. I just noticed something interesting about Kerian's design, his hat.

In the 1900s, fur was treated with liquid mercury to make top hats. The hats were made by hand, and the workers would succumb to mercury poisoning due to the close contact. This very method was soon titled "Mad Hatters Disease" because the workers would not only slowly die but were driven mad as well.

Not to sound like that meme from the Incredibles, but coincidence? I THINK NOT. If this isn't pique character design, I don't know what fucking is.
