hello tumblr....long time no see

haha heyyyy long time no see from me! (nah i still look at this site like literaloy every other day i just never post LOL) but uhm i returned to talk once again about moe and smithers bc they live in jy head

here are some of my headcanons for them bc i saw some other ppl share their hcs for simpsons dudes and yeauh im joining the club :P some are about just them individually and others are ship ones aha

- moe is a bit socially inept due to how he grew up, which is why he does stuff like talking out of turn and not picking up on some social cues. he is able to communicate with people to a degree though, ofc mostly bc his job kind of requires it LOL

- moe also tends to be pretty lazy and sleeps in alot. i like to think there was one time where he slept through the whole day and never opened the tavern bc nobody thought to wake him up pfft

- idk if they have canon heights and i don't care ANYWAYS!!! i like to think moe is 6'3" and smithers is 5'9" >:)

- smithers is a tough love type of person to anyone he actualoy dates. The only reason i believe he's a kissass towards mr burns is bc smithers views him almost as an authority figure. everyone else he's genuinely romantically interested in he's not afraid to knock down to reality LOL

- speaking of that moe and smithers 100% argue like an old married couple. You cannot tell me they would not

- i also like to think they were actually genuinely annoyed by eachother before they started talking and got together. Enemies to lovers motherfucker

- they're both insomniacs. not projecting ahahahahahaha (it is 3 in the morning as i'm typing this)

- this is basically already canon based on how moe's acted in his past relationships but moe is totally swooned by smithers and is willing to do anything in the world for him, and constantly is putting smithers before himself and going out of his way to make him happy. ofc smithers reassures moe at times that they're fine just the way they already are and for moe to not put too much pressure on himself, but still moe wants the relationship to be perfect in fear of being abandoned

- but in the end they are happy and love eachother so that's all that matters :)

i really wasn't expecting this rather silly and "made on a whim" shitpost to blow up so much but i just want to say thank you all so much 💚🖤 some of u who reblogged this added some really nice things in your tags and i appreciate it so much bc i get very insecure drawing these characters bc i think they don't fit my style and as such my art sticks out or looks too weird, but knowing that people legitimately like it is such a fresh breath of air 🥺 thank u all so much again! <33
