or... y/n l/n, a reporter for the japan volleyball association, accidentally leaks a series scathing articles from her high school days up to their latest game—every single one aimed at atsumu miya. an article that was meant to be a routine game recap turns into a viral scandal, putting her credibility and career at risk. the jva, desperate to clean up the mess, suspends her from her sports reporter roles and reassigns her as the pr promotor for none other than the msby black jackals—the very team atsumu is a star player for.

atsumu miya has never been one to let things go—especially not when it comes to his former childhood best friend. he never forgot how she used to cheer for his brother instead of him, how she rolled her eyes at his antics, how she seemed so unaffected by him despite everything. back then, he thought teasing her was the only way to get her attention. now? he has all the time in the world to make sure she pays attention to him—and only him.
