you ever think that maybe shitty started out with his touchy-feely nature towards jack but noticed he always sort of froze up a bit and didn't reciprocate, so shitty backed off because he respects boundaries, but then jack starts looking at him weird and almost frustrated? and eventually jack is just like "why did you stop touching me" and tells shitty that he actually is fine with it, he's just awkward. and shitty resumes his cuddly octopus ways with jack.
