OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING THIS A lot of the billdip content creators I used to follow are leaving the ship to go to billford (I like both, but losing so many billdips at once made me a little upset) so I think having a week will feed us a little lol

And by the way, I'm going to try to participate myself. I usually can't participate in weeks because of work, but having 2 months of production time helped a lot!

Oh I totally understand, I've been feeling the same... I like BillFord but since so many former BillDip artists got chased off and others going for BillFord instead it's a little sad to see!! I'm v happy to see people still making content for the ship though <3 <3

And that's great!! That was why I chose later in November for this first one, I wanted to give people time to make stuff <3 I'll be working on stuff ahead of time and just holding onto it until its the day of myself :3

I probably won't be able to complete all the days of the week because I get overwhelmed when I don't have something planned (and when I do, too) but I will try to do at least one day. But most importantly, thank you so much for organizing this week ❤️

There's no pressure to do EVERY day, so don't worry! We all look forward to seeing what you do ♥

Welcome to BillDip Week 2024!

BillDip Week is an event to spread love of Bill Cipher and Dipper Pines as a ship through various types of fanwork! The event will run from November 24th to November 30th this year!

This event is open to all ages, though NSFW works are allowed as long as they're censored, linked off site, or warned for appropriately. Current rules on Tumblr dictate we can't have sexual nudity anyways, so this should be an easy rule to follow, and Ao3 is fair game. There will be an Ao3 Collection made before the week begins so fanfiction can all be in one place!

This years prompts:

November 24: We'll Meet Again

November 25: Magic and Monsters

November 26: Secrets

November 27: Make it WEIRD

November 28: Another Time, Another Place

November 29: Moonlight

November 30: Free Day

Prompts are suggestions that have no strict meaning or guide, feel free to interpret them however you want in any sort of fanwork you feel like creating! You aren't limited to just Fanart or Fanfic! You can make a playlist, an aesthetic board, write a poem, make a video edit or animatic, make a GIF set - go ham!

Also, I don't have any other real rules or restrictions. Go where your heart takes you, go where these two take you. You don't even need to follow the prompts if they don't appeal to you! All that matters is you have fun and make something involving Bill and Dipper ♥

I was also thinking about making a BillDip Week for the 10th anniversary of Sock Opera on September 9th, instead of 2 (almost 3) months away.

That would be a lovely idea! The issue with it being so soon is that its so soon ahaha I chose November so I have time to get the themes together but also so people have time to make things in advance ^^

I DEF think Sept 9th ought to be a BillDip Fan Holiday, and if you do want to whip up a BillDip week event, please don't view me as someone who would be upset by it ^^

The names Willow and I didn't see any other active BillDip Week blogs so I decided.... Well, I'll do it myself!

For now I'm just stating that I'm here AND that I plan to have the week run...
