I came to Langhe as a volunteer at the BikeSquare project and fell in love with this area at the first sight!

Look at this breathtaking landscape:

It’s only my first week in Langhe but I already can say that being a part of BikeSquare team means not only working and meeting different people - it also gives me an opportunity to explore beautiful landscapes and see how Italian fundamental traditions are easily combined with Italian innovations. While riding an e-bike you will definitely see medieval castles, churches and wineries:

SO I am going to write about my experience here. Stay tuned!

Two years ago, more or less at this time in the morning, Massimo, Lucia, and I (Alberto) were at the notary to establish BikeSquare. Today we are scattered throughout Piedmont, but our project has taken shape and BikeSquare is operating in Italy and Europe. Above all, we are thrilled by the road we still have to take. Happy Birthday BikeSquare!

E-biking in Langhe
It was no longer than a week when I made another booking for an e-bike from Itaway. This time I took another route suggested by the app and it was just as amazing as the previous ride. I just love the feeling of riding the e-bike, specially downhill with the wind strong on my face. With the perfect sceneries and Itaway points along the route, it sure makes a memorable experience for anyone who loves the nature. I would recommend to anyone, for those who are not into cycling as well, to experience this e-biking adventure with BikeSquare (http://ebike.bikesquare.eu/langhe). You will be able to make memorable moments with your loved ones while experiencing the nature at its best.

E-Biking in Langhe
The feeling I got riding my bike through beautiful landscapes past vineyards, sunflower fields and the wind blowing in my face under the sun is beyond words. With the power of the e-bike I did not have to use much of my energy and I was not tired at all when I stopped at a BikeSquare (http://ebike.bikesquare.eu/langhe) point. I rested for a little while there and continued on my journey. The scenic views were breathtaking. The app was guiding me throughout the journey and I was able to find a good restaurant for my lunch. Their selected partners are also very friendly and provided a good service. The way back I was feeling very happy about my decision to ride an e-bike with Itaway, and also I was glad to have been able to experience the nature in a least harmful way.

E-Biking in Langhe
I am a 21 year old undergraduate in Sri Lanka and for the summer of 2017 I made my first visit to a European country, Italy. I accommodated myself in Novello, a comune in Province of Cuneo, 70km far from the city of Torino.
As I love cycling, I wanted to go on a bicycle tour during my stay. E-bikes are not very popular in Sri Lanka which is the main reason I wanted to try it here. So while searching the web for e-bikes, I came across this bicycle renting organization (formerly called Itaway, now BikeSquare - http://ebike.bikesquare.eu/langhe). They have four locations in Italy and I chose what is closest to me, in Langhe area, Piedmont. I contacted them through their e-mail and they replied back to me within 24 hours and confirmed my booking which made it easier for me to plan out the rest of my stay in the country. Their e-bikes can reach speeds of up to about 25km / h and the distance you can travel may depend on the area you are traveling, for example about 50km in a hill side or 120km on flat land. And also they have an app where they suggest many different routes with less traffic and scenic views around the city with points of interests and many bars and restaurants.
So I made it to their shop on a Sunday morning and they had a bike prepared for me when I got there. Wow they were really friendly and their service was super good. And after the demonstration provided by them regarding of how to use the e-bike, I set off in one of the tours suggested in the app and thanks to the app you can never get lost in this foreign land.
