Choosing The Right Childrens Balance Bikes For Their Needs
The Childrens balance bikes of Kidvelo Bikes is the world's first hybrid 2-in-1 balance bike and pedal bicycle that grows with your child like no other balance bike. Our rookie line of bikes will change the way kids learn to balance and ride a bike by eliminating the need for stabilizers or training wheels. Rookie 14 is very lightweight and sturdy, thanks to a 6061 aluminum frame and alloy components that will never rust, much like the rest of our top-rated Toddler training bikes. However, the Rookie 14 goes one step further: it can be converted from a balance bike to a first pedal bike by simply attaching the supplied easy-ride pedal kit. Transitioning from balance mode to pedals and back takes just minutes, ensuring your child's immediate riding success! Furthermore, because the geometry and handling are consistent throughout modes of operation, the child's learning lag from balance to pedal is essentially non-existent. Even the most discerning parents will be pleased with the Rookie series of hybrid 2-in-1 balance to pedal bikes.
Balance bikes are ideal for toddlers and are an excellent way to introduce your child to the joys of cycling. Without a drivetrain or pedals, balance bikes are similar to children's or toddler's bikes. From the age of four, the strider 14 inch pedal bike or kids sports bike offers up a whole new world of adventure and gives your child confidence and riding abilities. In comparison to other children's bikes, our balancing bikes are lighter and have smaller wheels, making them ideal for small hands and bodies. When they're a little older, a balancing bike of ours is a great method to assist them transition to unsupported pedal cycles.
When Is The Optimum Time To Start Riding A Balancing Bike?
Our balance bike age is best suited for toddlers between the ages of 18 months and eight years. Once toddlers have mastered the balance bike, they can progress to our rookie 14 inch balance to pedal bike or 18′′ balance to pedal bike.
Is There A Warranty For Balance Bikes?
With a world-class warranty, you can buy a balance bike with pedals of Kidvelo Bikes with confidence! Frame and fork have a 5-year warranty, components have a 2-year guarantee, and accessories have a 1-year warranty.
What Characteristics Distinguish A Kidvelo Rookie 14 Convertible Balancing Bike As The Best First Bike?
If you have a child between the ages of 18 months and eight years old, they will want to learn to ride a bike at some point in their lives. A Childrens balance bikes will be the best option for them. Some ostensibly "kid's bikes" are huge, heavy, and bulky, detracting from the fun and safety of learning to balance and ride a bike. Our Rookie balance bike collection is unique. Little ones can balance, roll, and learn to ride a bike with the safety feature of being able to put their feet down when they need to, thanks to a lower centre of gravity and the removal of the drive chain and pedals. This leads to increased riding confidence (since kids feel safe), as well as fewer scratches, bumps, and tears. If you have an active child who enjoys being outside, our selection of lightweight balancing bikes may be precisely what they need.

Useful Kids Bike Accessories To Make Their Ride A Colourful One
You may be looking for kids bike accessories for a variety of reasons. Maybe your youngster just got their first pedal bike and you're searching for some fun accessories to go with it.
Whatever your purpose for coming here, we have a large selection of kids bike accessories that your child (or grandchild) will enjoy. We've tried everything and hand-picked our favorites.
These accessories include those for your child's bike (such as baskets and grips), those for your child's body (such as helmets and gloves), and those for the entire family (like tow ropes and bike ramps). You'll find everything you're looking for right here!
These accessories are designed to make your child's kids sports bike more enjoyable or more utilitarian.
· Bike Baskets and Bags
Kids adore bike bags and baskets, yet each child has his or her unique rationale for doing so. Some people desire to transport their plush animals. Others wish to amass a collection of rocks. Larger children may want to be able to carry their belongings to school.
· Bells
Who doesn't enjoy a nice jingle? A bell is appealing to children because it sounds amusing, but it may also serve as a useful safety measure. Teach your children to ring them to pass on congested bike lanes, and you'll be giving them a life skill.
· Helmet
No youngster should ride a bicycle without wearing kids helmets. In fact, a helmet should be the first item you purchase.
Unfortunately, not all children's bicycle helmets are made equal. Make sure to choose a high-quality, well-fitting kids bike helmet.
· Saddles
A new saddle (seat) may not be the first thing that springs to mind when it comes to adorning your child's bike, but it may make a significant difference in your child's enjoyment of the bike. Many of the saddles that come standard on children's bikes are really uncomfortable.
· Pedals
A new set of pedals is an excellent way to upgrade your child's bike. Most standard bike pedals aren't all that great, so this is a simple method to enhance your child's bike while also having fun with it.
· Grips
Grips, like pedals, are a terrific way to add a splash of color to your child's bike. When your child's present grips wear down, this is a terrific as well as and important kids protective gear addition.
When ordering, keep the handlbar diameter and grip breadth in mind. Check out our grip guide below for additional information on selecting grips.
· Locks
You paid a lot of money to acquire your child a high-quality bike. You'd best make sure your investment is secure now.
While most bike locks are quite difficult for children to use (or carry), there are a few child-friendly locks that we recommend. The Woom lock is our personal favorite.
Lights can be useful (for a night mountain bike trip with your child), safe (for riding near traffic at dusk), or simply goofy and fun. We like wheel lights for the latter two circumstances, and our favorite brand is Monkey Lights.

This Will Assist You To Buy Kids Bike Accessories Which Are Required For Your Child's Safety
You may be looking to buy kids bike accessories for a variety of reasons. Maybe your youngster just received their first pedal bike, and you're looking for some fun accessories to go with it. Perhaps you're looking for a gift for your grandchild who is crazy about horses. Perhaps your child is a reluctant cyclist, and you're hoping that a fun new pair of cycling gloves or a jersey would motivate them to get out and ride. Whatever brought you here, we have a large selection of kids bike accessories that will appeal to your youngster (or grandchild). We've tried everything and hand-picked our personal favourites. Accessories for your child's bike (such as baskets and grips), body equipment (such as helmets and gloves), and family-related accessories are all available (like tow ropes and bike ramps). You'll find whatever you're looking for at Kidvelo Bikes!
In Support Of Bicycles
These add-ons are designed to make it easier to buy kids bike accessories that are more enjoyable to ride or more utilitarian.
Bike Baskets And Bags -
For a variety of reasons, bicycle bags and baskets are very popular among children. Some folks love to travel with their stuffed animals. Others are interested in collecting rocks. Larger youngsters may prefer to bring their stuff to school with them. Your child will be able to carry whatever he or she wants with the help of a bike bag or basket.
Bells -
Who doesn't enjoy a good ringing bell? A bell appeals to children because it sounds funny, but it can also serve as a useful safety feature. Teach your children to ring them to pass on congested bike lanes, and you've given them a life skill. For extremely young children, the incredibell is our favourite bell. It's simple to use, available in a variety of colours, and creates a fantastic sound.
Saddles -
A new saddle (seat) may not be the first thing that springs to mind when it comes to adorning your child's bike, but it can make a significant difference in your child's happiness on the bike. Many of the saddles included with children's 14 inch balance bikes are really uncomfortable.
Pedals -
A new set of pedals for your child's bike is a terrific way to personalise it. Because most stock bike pedals aren't very good, this is a simple method to improve your child's bike while also having fun with it. Bike pedals are available in a variety of hues, so you're sure to find one that fits your child's favourite colour.
Grips -
Grips, like pedals, are an excellent way to add a splash of colour to your child's bike. When your child's present grips wear out, this is a great addition. (You never want an exposed bar end–quite it's dangerous). When ordering, pay attention to the handlebar diameter and grip breadth. Check out the Kidvelo Bikes grip guide for more information.
Locks -
You spent a lot of money on a good bike for your child. Now is the time to ensure that your investment is safe. While most bike locks are too difficult for children to handle (or carry), there are a handful that we recommend.
Lights -
Lights can be useful (for taking your youngster on a night mountain bike ride), safe (for riding near traffic at night), or just plain silly and entertaining.
Water bottle and cage -
One of the first reasonable accessories to purchase for a child's bike is a water bottle and cage. Unfortunately, many children's bikes (especially smaller bikes) have frames that do not allow for a water bottle cage. If your child's bike has eyelets for a water bottle cage and there's room for one, we recommend our Bike cage, which is inexpensive, robust, and comes in a variety of colours. Even then, a larger traditional-sized water bottle may not be possible, so we prefer our shorter ones.
In The Interest Of Your Child
These are some to buy kids bike accessories that you put on your child to protect them or make them feel more comfortable.
Helmet -
No child should ride a bicycle without wearing a helmet. In fact, a helmet should be your first purchase. Unfortunately, not all bicycle helmets for children are created equal. Make sure your children's helmets are well-fitting, high-quality, and the best. We have helmets also for our famous 12 inch balance bike with brakes just for kids safety.
Gloves
Gloves are another critical piece of safety gear, though not as important as a helmet. In the event of a collision, they can protect your child's hands from becoming skinned. You will really adore our gloves if you have small children. The possibilities for older children are limitless. See all of our favourite gloves.
Jersey or shorts
While bike-specific apparel isn't required for children, it might help them feel more motivated and thrilled to ride. Padded bike shorts can also help if your child is experiencing chafing or discomfort on longer rides.
Hydration pack or hip pack
Your child can carry their own water with a hydration pack (particularly if their bike doesn't have room for a bottle cage). If your youngster only has to carry a few tiny items, a hip pack, on the other hand, can be a lightweight and incredibly hip (pun intended) answer (such as snacks).
Shoes
Bike shoes aren't necessary for most kids, although they do give extra grip and support. Consider a pair of nice gripping bike shoes if you've ever noticed your child's feet slipping off their pedals (or a skate shoe).
Sunglasses or goggles
A pair of sunglasses (casual riding) or goggles (extreme riding) is required depending on the type of riding your youngster does (BMX, downhill mountain biking). Children's eyes are especially sensitive to the light and need to be shielded from dirt, rocks, and other foreign objects.
Knee and elbow pads
Additional protection can be provided by knee and elbow protectors. These are also the best to buy kids bike accessories. They're an excellent choice for both crash-prone toddlers and aggressive older children.
