From the chainlink.
Looming over the highway

Water trickling and rippling.
A waterfall forced across
My drivers side window.
Nature versus technology.
I smell
Cigarette smoke
Curling and unfurling.
Pulling me by the nostrils
Begging me to taste it.
I feel
The vibrations in the wheels
As I push it past 85.

And choked back fury
