Baby Ayla has a severe ear infection. She is in terrible pain and is very lethargic. She requires antibiotics and other medications to treat her infection, as well as vitamins that will help support healthy growth. If she cannot receive these treatments, Ayla will probably have to have surgery on her ear!!!

Horrifyingly, inflation caused by the IOF siege means that it will cost $2500 USD to procure these treatments. The family simply does not have this money, and cannot attain it without you.

I am one of the sons of Al Shati refugee camp, and a survivor of Al Shifa hospital massacre. Does anybody care to hear my story?

I live in Gaza city, where my youth was taken from me.

On 7-10-2023 I was asleep, my biggest concern was waking up in time for the 8am lecture at my university.

I'm in Al-Shati camp, south of Gaza. I'm sure you've heard of it. Today is 26-11-2024, it's been more than a year, and I'm still living outside my house. I don't understand why this happened, or why I'm still not in my house.

About two weeks ago was the anniversary of our displacement from northern Gaza to the south and since that day we've known nothing but hardship.

The tent where we live is inhabitable and cannot support any form of life in this cold and this rain and this flooding.

Of all these terrors, the memory of our displacement is the bleakest of them all.

On 10-11-2023, we experienced two days of siege on Al Shifaa hospital, without food nor drink nor even light to see around us, feeling our way like we're blind in order to move around, because even our phones had run out of battery, not even knowing whether the occupation has invaded the hospital yet or not, all we hear is the sound of ceaseless bombardment within the hospital's perimeter.

We lost a lot of people that day. Those who were detained, those who were murdered, and those whose fates are unknown to this day.

We couldn't believe it when the morning finally came, and we finally fled the hospital, to walk 20 kilometers on our feet through Al Halabat path after two days with no food or drink.

This is the story of one of Gaza's sons. My story is not singular, but one of many stories that strengthen our conviction in our right to this land. Most of us here have died for this land.

Our condition today is horrible. This war is picking us off one by one. I am not willing to lose another member of my family. Causes of death are compounding, the latest of which is the cold and storms that the weather has brought.

Save my orphan children

I am Inas, a mother of two young children: Muhammad, 7 years old, and Hala, 5 years old. They should have been living their childhood like all children—safe and warm in the embrace of their father. But the war has stolen that dream from us😭😭😭

Six months ago, my husband Anas, a kind-hearted man who endured a life of poverty, was killed by a random shell while on his way to work as a taxi driver. Since that tragic day, I’ve been left to carry the unbearable weight of life alone.

I held a diploma in international secretarial studies and was about to start a job to help support my family. But the war shattered not only our home but also my hopes and dreams. We’ve been displaced six times and now live in a tent that offers no shelter from the bitter cold or the ever-looming fear.

My young children face relentless hunger that weakens their fragile bodies and a cold that knows no mercy for their small hearts. Each day, their cries for warmth and food grow louder, and each day, I feel more helpless to provide them with even the basics of life💔😭😭

I appeal to your humanity, to your compassion. We need your help to survive, to find a safe shelter, and to feed my children. Your generosity could be the reason Muhammad and Hala continue to live and find hope amidst this darkness🥹

Do you remember the Flour Massacres that happened during spring? It is one where people had lost their lives while receiving flour for their families. White bags stain with bright red. It has never opened and it may have never reached to the people who are waiting for their loved one to return so they can bake bread and eat together.

We are witnessing something similar as winter takes place. Bakeries and mills are destroyed by the IOF for nearly a year. They are buried under the rubble while the prices for flour has been increasing day by day or even by the hour. The exorbitant prices, along with the border being closed, are responsible for making families starve and sleep with so much pain.

This is the case for Siraj Abudayeh (@siraj2024). He is a Gazan journalist who is supporting 23 family members. 10 of them are children who are under the age of 12.

Please read in his own words about the ongoing famine:

"[I] stand helpless [as] my children [asks]: “What do we want to eat!” When I [return] empty-handed after queuing for eight hours in front of the only bakery currently operating in Khan Yunis Governorate, south of the Gaza Strip. Located in the centre of the governorate, [I] did not receive a loaf of bread to satisfy [my] children’s hunger, and the children slept in hunger and pain."

Not only he is risking his own life to ensure his family is fed, but Siraj has lost his fundraiser after being under investigation for weeks by GFM. He lost 38K CAD, which is substantial amount of funds to help him purchase basic necessities. So if you have donated to him prior, please request a refund and re-donate.

Hello all, Safaa has given me permission to make a post to help promote her fundraiser. She is 26 years old and a new mother. Her son is 5 months old and is named Amir. Her mother suffers from chronic diabetes and her father has recently suffered a stroke.

As we move into the winter months, the displaced people of Gaza are finding it harder and harder to survive. As temperatures drop, Safaa struggles to keep herself and her son warm. Blankets and warm clothes are scarce. It is one thing to starve, another thing to starve and freeze, another thing to starve, freeze, and have to constantly flee from bombs dropped by Israel. Not even the water is safe to drink. Safaa is forced to cut pieces of cloth for her child instead of using diapers, which have skyrocketed in price due to the blocking of aid by Israel at the borders leading into Gaza. A few dollars can help save a life. A reblog, or sharing a fundraiser in your Discord, or over text with your friends and family, or elsewhere, can help save a life. These people have been struggling for over a year now, some of them have been struggling for much longer.
