Well it all started with the multiversus comic where Bugs was lwky flirting with him, but then I was like silly mischief entity who can get out of pretty much anything but doesn't bc funsies and the grittiest greatest detective. Like think Bugs is being held hostage and he undid the ropes tying him to the chair a while ago, but he kinda wants to see how this plays out bc nothing better is going on. Batman swoops in to save him and bc Bugs talks casually with everyone, villains assume they know each other and Bugs getting kidnapped becomes a frequent occurrence. Sometimes Bugs gets out by himself, sometimes he waits to get saved, depending on how he's feeling that day. Anyway, the long and short of it is Bugs starts playing up the damsel in distress act and flirting or whatever and Batman never stops him.

Timeskip to when Bugs finds out Batman is Bruce Wayne. He doesn't really gaf bc why would he, but he does start asking for money because Daffy keeps blowing their savings on random shit and he stays over at the manor when he's bored bc something is always going on in Gotham. Most of the batkids think he's funny which is a bonus. Basically, it's "weird unkillable rabbit thing that attracts danger x tired detective that saves him all the time even though he doesn't have to"
