Rant:

I HATE that people think people with eating disorders don’t like food. I love food too much and that’s where the whole problem starts.

Dealing with an ED as an adult is so much different than when I was a teenager. I can’t spend all my time on Tumblr looking at skinny girls and avoiding food at school. I work and if I don’t eat I’m cranky and lethargic and that’s a bad time. I cannot make myself so sick that I don’t do anything because I’m financially independent and have a cat and I do so much on my own now, so if I was so sick that I had to be hospitalized or something my entire life as I know it is on the line. I’m weight safe and never relapse too hard to make weight loss progress but I know for a fact that I still have this disorder.

It’s different.
