The days of merla.... 29,30 and 31 January
A Merla was regularly roughed up from January, cold and shady month, having fun waiting for her to come out of the nest looking for food, to throw on cold earth and frost. Tired of constant persecution, the merla one year decided to make enough supplies for a month, and locked himself in his lair, sheltered, throughout January, which then had only days. On the last day of the month, the merla, thinking that he deceived bad January, came out of the hiding place and started singing for sbeffeggiarlo. January was so much so that he borrowed three days in February and started with blizzards, wind, Frost, rain. The Merla took refuge on the sly in a chimney, and there he stayed for three days. When the merla came out, it was safe, but its beautiful plumage had been gray because of the soot of the chimney, and so it remained forever with grey feathers.
Always according to legend, if the days of the merla are cold, spring will be beautiful; if they are warm, spring will be late......
