I honestly don't know what some other 'anonymous' reviewers were complaining about, I graduated in 2012 and had the best time of my life at this place. The best part in a student’s life is the college life. I studied in Rohini College of engineering and technology, the best engineering college in Kanyakumari district in Tamil Nadu.

 My Best days of student life were spent here. It was a long journey from Imphal to Kanyakumari. My father moved from Imphal to Kanyakumari for work. So studying in Kanyakumari was the only option for me. I searched everywhere for an engineering college with good infrastructure, faculties and good placement cell. Finally I found RCET, one of the top 10 engineering colleges in Kanyakumari district in Tamil Nadu. The infrastructure of RCET is extraordinary with all facilities.

Now I’m realizing how much missing RCET. There is no need to brief about the academics and placement statistics about   RCET as it is well-known all-over Kanyakumari. If you are good with your academics, there is no need to worry about the placements. You will surely get one from here. There are two semesters per year and totally 8 semesters for 4 years. Exams will be based on topics of content discussed in class and its applications. Industrial visit will happen at each semester and will give a great knowledge about industries. Apart from semester exams class tests will also be conducted

I stayed in college hostel during my third and fourth year.  My life in hostel was the best part of RCET life. There is no restriction on you and you have got ample amount of freedom. It also has adequate high security and good discipline.    Special mention to the food which we were getting from the hostel. Most of the days we used to get Non Veg food items.

Honestly Now I’m realizing the value of freedom after joining a college for my PG. Without doubt I proudly say that RCET is the best engineering college in Kanyakumari district in Tamil Nadu.

Awareness program on Kavalan App and POCSO Act was conducted by NSS unit of RCET aimed to spread the usage of Kavalan SOS App  for the safety and Welfare of Women in the Society. Program was inaugurated by Board of the Directors and Chief Guest Mr. Baskaran, Deputy Superintendent of Police ,Kanyakumari. He explained in detail  about the usage of Kavalan App and POCSO App for the safety of Children in Society. Mrs. Menaka address the gathering about the installation of these Apps.
