ok ummm oopsies i totally forgot about this uh,,,, submissions closed i guess

so we have like 64 but as i mentioned i’ll also add the top 5 names for each major gender (and like 2 gender neutral ones) but so how would you guys want this to be structured?

also i rlly wish there was something between 1 day and 1 week for polls but what can you do

been a week since this began and we have 54 submissions, which is probably enough to do this tournament! hell i can prolly get every name submitted in so that’d be cool. if anyone has any other first names that they really want to add they can submit those here! also i’ll prolly add the top 5 or 10 names in the UK for each gender too to get some more generic ones in there lol

extra rule i forgot: in the name box enter just the name, capital letter at the start, so it’s easier for me to see- so far we’ve had 2 gaylords but i thought there was just one because one was capitalised and one wasn’t

for extra info (like how to pronounce the name) have it in the why box again so i can see which names have had multiple submissions

first names only, no last names or full names (if it’s a first name that can be used as a last name obviously you can enter that, e.g. i’d allow Cameron as a first name despite David Cameron existing)

you can submit multiple names, because i’m not anticipating many responses, but you can’t submit the same name twice

only input one name per submission- if u wanna add another name, make another submission

doesn’t matter where you get the name from as long as it’s not too distinctive (e.g. if your oc is called Basil then you can enter that but if they’re called Slippaddle III maybe not)

rule above does not mean names like moss can’t be entered btw, uncommon/weird names r allowed

names can be entered for any reason or none at all, feel free to state why but it’s not required

i’ll close the form whenever i think it’s got enough submissions but probably in a week or so, maybe longer depending on how many we have by then

names will be added to the tournament based on how many submissions they get (or if i really like them lol)

of the names that get into the tournament, i’ll try make the male/female split around 50/50, but gender neutral names will be oki doki
