Was wearing a DND shirt in a records shop which is a critical mistake on my part, and a random guy came up to me and was grilling me about DND editions and I was like I don't know the deep lore and he was like well you're wearing a shirt from whatever edition and I was like my mom got me a DND shirt bc she knows I play DND, and it looks cool, that is the extent of my knowledge, and the look on his face was comical.

I do not have encyclopedic knowledge of DND editions, I just play DND with my buddies!

I am a fake ass fan. Don't @ me.

I would've been more hostile, but truthfully I had to get out of there before I was forced to admit I don't have a record player at gun point.

nothing has been more important to my being queer than when i went to my first pride parade, got seperated from my group, had a panic attack about it and was sitting on the side of the road holding a tiny genderfluid flag and freaking out. then this six foot five drag queen in four inch heels appeared from literally nowhere and sat down next to me. i, this scared-shitless trans bi kid at pride for the first time, very nervously told her she looked pretty and i told her my name and that i got lost and didn't feel like i should be at pride and she held my hand and said "oh, honey, everybody deserves to be here, especially you. pride is for everybody who's ever gotten lost, who's been scared of who they are or where they are. you think we never been scared before? pride's for you, honey, because you're scared. you don't have to be proud right now, but you're gonna be one day, honey, i'm sure of it."

i found my group soon after that and i never saw that queen again but to this day i am convinced i met an angel.

so yeah. pride is for you. pride is for all of us.

was talking to my gf about my fear of dying young for being trans and my mom putting my deadname on my gravestone, and she said "i hope that never happens, but if it does, i will carve your name into your grave myself if i have to." and i think theres something extremely raw about that sentiment and trans community in general. you can kill only our bodies, but you cant kill transsexuality
