          The girl had angel eyes--it was the first thing that Bernadette had noticed. Her hair fell in a lock that brushed her cheek. These were all things that Bernadette subconsciously observed when most spoke to her but, it felt deeply different now. She was never flirted with--in fact, people didn’t even flirt with the idea of flirting with Bernadette Wallace. She was, as it seemed, somewhere else. Somewhere in between a movie and real life. “I’d...I’d very much like that.”

         “Wow, that was a very deep statement. I completely agree, art is vital in the preservation, and evolution of culture, and values… And like you said, it’s just beautiful.” Blushing, she added a moment later, “Kind of like you.” 

          “Art is another set of eyes. It sees things that the soul cannot.” It was fascinating how very often people disagreed with her in this way until now. She, too, was blushing--she could hardly speak. “You’re rather beautiful as well, though I’m sure you already know that.”
