Update on Goblin, or Gobbo as the players call him, they have found out he is actually an extremely interesting NPC and are loving scenes with him. Huzzuh!

Goblin knew about the tunnels the Sabbat were making, but since no one asked, Goblin thought they didn't care. So, he took the Tremere twins and 2 others to his hovel through these tunnels. It was like a rabbit's burrow with multiple rooms filled with ancient texts and artifacts. They ask, "Uh, Gobbo, how old are you?" And Goblin just went "This many!" Held up a 5, but then slowly motioned 2 zeroes.

They found out he either had his memories messed with or a Malkavian severely messed him up. But perhaps he's faking...?

My favorite part was the bathroom bc when they opened it, it was just a spotlight shining down on a bucket, and when they looked into it, there was a fake poop, and when you PULLED the fake poop, it revealed a secret compartment. So, Goblin has his memories of extremely elaborate traps and hidden facilities, but it's through the mind of a child. Think Codename KnD. His haven, though underground, has a layer of metal around it, and between the metal and rock wall, is a hallow layer where all his rats are "stored". So to get inside, they either have to fleshcraft his handprint perfectly to get past the scanner or bust through the metal shell and hope the starved rats don't eat through them like land piranhas. That part was obviously made when he had his mind working right. So players are trying to find out, do they want to fix Goblin? Or perhaps it's best to keep him this way?

What does a vampire do for therapy? Its one thing to rip apart an enemy, but its another to open yourself up to a potential vulnerability.

"As kindred of my age, we have learned who are allies and those who are not. And truly, only another kindred could understand the trials of time and the, for lack of a better term, 'trauma' that comes with it. So, to confide in one another is a form a therapy, to someone that understands this. Ripping apart someone or something...that truly only works if you are on a Path that allows such a thing."

What kind of dental care standards do you adhere to? I assume having the same teeth for an eternity means proper care must be taken.

"Since I am not alive, bacteria cannot survive in my body unless I exert blood often. I still brush my teeth for breath sake, but I do not need to be concerned with cavities since all I drink is blood."

question, any mechanics or bits o lore you smooth over or change up in your VTM games for player fun?

Like how in my planned WtA games i don't plan on having characters be stuck with only one outfit they have to do a special rite to not tear when they change.

There are certain aspects that the lore books don't delve into, or at least in the ones we own, and no one references them online, so we have to make changes or fill in, in that regard.

Like, the books state that one just needs one's attention to use Dominate abilities.

The Rules Lawyer storyteller says I could be looking at you, but use ANY Dominate ability on someone in the room as long as I called their name or got their attention to some capacity. The main storyteller and I call that BS with majority of Dominate's abilities. Sure, Command makes sense, but nearly every other Dominate ability references gaze. It makes no sense for me to be at my desk and Condition someone across the room just because I happened to call out to them based on a singular line of information in the book.

Also, there's practically nothing on Abyssal Magic, nothing in all the books we own thus far and online practically, so we had to fill in some things unless someone knows where I can find it because it ain't in the La Sombra Clan book AHHHHHHH.

I think I found the kind of style I'd like to pursue for this blog. I was inspired by the retro feel of the new manga, Veil and wanted to play with the elements I liked from it.

Hey i've got just the nickname for you, Queen B. get it? Because you're royalty and your name starts with a B!

I do get called Bee, but only by those who know me as a Kine and not a Kindred, and Cecil, at times. Unfortunate that we don't use terms such as those as, if I were to use 'Queen' instead of 'Prince', I'm sure there would be comments about egotism.

Can the samedi touch each other? Or will they cause each other to rot faster?

"If they touched each other then both activated Thanatosis, it would definitely speed up their decomposition...but it is a power. Merely touching does not trigger such a thing."

tremere are not often trusted in vampire society. But what is your mind on them, prince?

"At least from an Hungarian Ventrue standpoint, I cannot speak for all of course..."

((Clan Ventrue were one of the first clans to accept Clan Tremere, but Hungarian Ventrue had them as allies during a war with the Tzimisce so there's a sort of kinship there. Under the Black Cross goes into it if I recall right!))

Dressed exclusively in cheep Hawaii shirts. She has suits but can’t bother.

"Are those khakis? At least it's a step up from the jeans the Neonates wear to come see me." The Prince's expectations are very low, hopefully that changes when the Elders from Phoenix come to back her up.

((One player wears his lab coat from work to session and it now has a copious amount of burn holes in it and I wonder if it's safe and another wears harnesses...and not the Hot Topic kind //WHEEZE))

When Bernadette was younger, she had the tendency to laugh in uncomfortable situations. I swear she wasn’t laughing at her superior.

So Silo has been running me through the Convention of Thorns because Bernadette would have been there, and uh, October 19th, Myca Vyko’s threw his dickledack at Hardestadt, a Ventrue Elder, so Bernadette’s superior and uh-
