Dearest gentle reader,

The most romantic of all holidays is just around the corner and this author was made aware that a community bearing the name of DailyBenophie will be hosting a gathering to mark the occasion. All members of the Ton are invited to showcase their creativity to celebrate the love between Mr and Mrs Benedict Bridgerton - the Mrs formerly known as Miss Sophia Maria Baek - during this one-day event. Though the second-born Bridgerton may not be as positively inclined towards this idea if his handling of the society mamas last season is anything to go by. However, this author will eagerly await all of the fan art, gifs, videos and other creative things that will be submitted on the obscure platform called Tumblr, under the tags #benophievalentineoffer and #dailybenophie. Who knows, maybe the famous Henry Granville himself will attend and make judgements on the quality of art?

How to participate?

All types of fan content are encouraged, such as fan fiction, edits, fan art and gifsets.

Use the hashtags #benophievalentineoffer and #dailybenophie so we can see your posts and reblog them.

Using Yerin and Luke as face claims is okay and encouraged, however, don't feel discouraged if you want to use a fan cast as we also try to reblog those! For a list of fan casts that we have previously come across, see our tag list.

While the event is planned for February 14, we will reblog things posted under the correct hashtags both before and after. No stress in posting on specifically that day as you will have time to participate in this and also enjoy Bridgerton's special gathering.

Big Thank You

I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has partaken in Benophie week!

it's been amazing seeing some new authors coming out of the woodworks, some old ones coming back (@redpensandgreenarrows and @sophiamariabeckett i'm looking at you)

it's been amazing seeing everyone getting involved and sharing their thoughts, headcanons and favourite things about our beloved couple!

I will be planning another little 5 day event for when we get confirmation of S4 being ours and the casting of Sophie so please keep your eyes peeled! but don't worry I will give everyone plenty of time! (and i'll need it to with the little one as well!)

Thank you everyone for making it worth the time and effort I put in arranging Benophie week and I can't wait to celebrate our season with you all!!

and here is to next June and having the knowledge that S4 is ours, having our Sophie and hopefully some leaked press photos to make Benophie week 2025 the best ever!

Benophie Week Day 5 - Final Day!

Today’s Prompts are: Masquerade / Reunited / “you’re much better off without me…” “you’re not the judge of that”

And it’s our final of Benophie, at least for now, once we get confirmation of S4 being OURS and who Sophie is going to be, then we shall celebrate with an additional few days later on!

But for today… I want to know the following:

How YOU would write about Benedict and Sophie meeting again, so take away the book, and the whole Cavender incident… if that never happened… how would you have them meet again?

How would they recognise one another? Would Benedict recognise Sophie?

And

If the Jail scene never happened, so as Sophie walked out of Number 5 to wait for the carriage, and the carriage came, how would you write their reunion? Would Sophie board the boat to America? 

And WHO else would you like alongside Benedict and Violet? Either in the Jail or in your alternative scene?
