These are some of the characters featured in a large map project created for @thesourcepark ‘the world’s largest underground skatepark’. I recently had to revamp the map that I completed of the park from a couple years back as the facility has undergone some BIG changes and @thecourtyardhastings has been added to the complex. There is so much detail in this project that you don’t get to see on screen, it will be displayed as a large mural style print on site at the park. I thoroughly recommend visiting for a skate or ride or just to watch and have some food and drink in the courtyard which is a wonderful place. Some details From a map project for Bishopstone Station in East Sussex that I’m wrapping up today. It should be up in the train station soon and I hope it brings some joy and tourist information to those visiting the area. I like the challenges that come with creating illustrated maps, you have to be true to the land that you’re representing whilst still intending to create something that looks aesthetically pleasing. I produced a series of illustrations that reflect on their approach to building creative communities across the world and different cultures. Both through meeting in person and via technology.
