9 Apple Watch Battery Savings Tips
https://www.youtube.com/embed/pwrrQfQ8HXU hey everybody david and david here from payetteforward.com and uphone.com and in this video we're going to tell you about some apple watch battery tips before we dive in a lot of this stuff is done inside the watch app on your iphone so grab your iphone if you don't already have it we're going to spend most of our time using it so let's start by opening the watch app first we're going to do is turn off background app refresh perfect background app refresh allows certain apps on your apple watch to download new content even when you're not using them so this can use some cellular data on your iphone and it can drain your battery on your apple watch and on your iphone yep so let's tap on general tap on background app refresh and i've got the switch on for every single one of my apps right now i think so i want to start turning some of these off uh alarms audible audio books basically turn it off for everything except messaging apps and apps that need to be downloading new content when you're not using them maybe a sports app espn perhaps maybe you like a sporting type of sporting event and just like me big sports guy big sports guy next thing i want to do is turn on reduce motion this will just cut down some of the on-screen animations you see on your apple watch and i was kind of thinking about it it's more noticeable on your iphone but on your apple watch i don't know what animations you're really getting out of that so let's tap back back again and then tap on accessibility and tab reduce motion just turn on this switch next to reduce motion i love it our next tip is to turn on power saving mode while working out now when you do this your calorie numbers might be a little bit off and it turns off the heart rate sensor entirely which might be a deal breaker for some people right but if you work out at the gym and using the cardio machines they have the heart rate and the calories built in right there and if you i wouldn't really rely on my apple watch to be accurately tracking how many calories i'm burning anyway so right i think this is it's an okay feature to turn off especially if you go to the gym and your apple watch battery life's already low uh let's go ahead and turn it off so let's go back to the main page of the watch app and scroll down to work out and we'll just turn on that switch next to power saving mode now it's on right and if this doesn't work out you can always go here and turn it right back off similarly one of the main reasons why apple watch batteries die fast is because people forget to stop their workout or they accidentally start a workout and now it's running in the background and it can it can you know just go on and on and on and drain battery very quickly so double check real quick to make sure that your apple watch isn't actively having a workout right now you can also set these uh work and workout reminders maybe you just left the gym forgot to turn off your workout this will remind you when it says oh you haven't been really doing much in the past few minutes well how does one see on their apple watch if they are currently in workout mode well you can open the workout app on your apple watch and as you can see i don't have anything going right now but if you did there would be a little timer running maybe a heart rate going calorie counter if you didn't turn on power saving mode next we're going to turn off awake screen on wrist raise just when you lift your wrist up the screen automatically brightens up and i do a lot of typing so i'm typing a lot and all this i don't know why series going off now sorry i type it a lot the screen will start flashing and i can just drain a bunch of battery if the screen is flashing constantly all the time so let's tap back scroll up to general and tap on wake screen so i have it turned on right now go ahead and turn that off another tip for you here is to set wake for 15 seconds as opposed to 70 seconds that way the display isn't on as long maybe if you you like your wrist raise but you don't want the screen to stay on forever uh set it to 15 seconds that'll help save some battery life i like it next we're going to turn off unnecessary notifications notifications are just little pop-ups that you see in your apple watch and it's important just to be intentional about which ones you want to appear and which apps you don't want to have the ability to just send you stuff all the time can save your battery life yep so let's go back to general back to the main page of the watch app and tap on notifications so scroll through your list of apps which ones don't need to be sending notifications walkie talkie i've never even used that feature i'm going to go ahead and turn that off if you scroll down here you'll see mirror iphone alerts from a couple of your apps so you've already set up your notifications so you like them on your iphone you can just mirror them right here i like it pretty cool similarly we're going to mirror our iphone mail settings we recommend setting mail to fetch for 15 minutes we recommend that in every single one of our iphone battery videos you want to mirror those settings on your apple watch so we'll tap back scroll down to mail and just tap on mirror my iphone a little check mark will appear next to it yeah that's great it's a great feature that you don't have to go through and just set it all up on your apple watch separately just mirror it perfect yeah our next battery tip is to add songs to your apple watch that way you're not always streaming them from your iphone help you save battery life that way we're going to tap back to the main page the apple watch app and scroll to music there it is and just tap add music and just start picking the songs or albums or artists that you want to add to your apple watch i just tap on an album tap on an album tap that plus button at the right hand corner of the screen added perfect look at that now you don't even have to have your phone nearby and you can play that music and our final watch os battery tip is to just keep your watch up to date uh apple will release watch os updates to get rid of some bugs improve performance it's always good to get the latest version of watch os yep so i'll tap back to the main page of the watch app scroll up to general tap software update and one is available how about that tap download and install i've noticed that apple watch updates tend to take longer than iphone updates i'm not sure what that's about but well i could take guesses but you don't care do it do it overnight yeah perfect so those are some apple watch battery tips thanks for watching this video give it a thumbs up if you enjoyed it leave a comment down below with any other questions and don't forget to subscribe to this channel for more great videos about apple products

5 Watch Rules ALL MEN Should Follow | STOP Wearing Your Watches WRONG!
5 Watch Rules ALL MEN Should Follow | STOP Wearing Your Watches WRONG! What's up guys? It's, jose zuniga from fisherman's fashion in for today, i'm gonna show you how you've been wearing. Your watch is wrong, believe it or not. There's, a couple watch rules. Every guy needs to follow to make sure they're properly, executing that watch that the watch is actually enhancing their outfit and making them look better. Today we're gonna go over the top five watch rules. You should be followed number one. Your watch goes on your left hand or your right here. I get. This question asked all the time Jose on what wrist should I wear my watch, and the answer is that it depends it's. It's really on the wrist that suits you, so it all depends on what are you? So if you're a righty, you do all your stuff. You're riding. With your right hand, you should wear your watch on the left hand like I do. On the other hand, if you're left-handed, you're, a lefty. You do all your writing with the left hand. Traditionally, you should wear your watch on the right hand, this is mainly so your watches become obtrusive during your simple daily tasks such as right number. Two, you have to wear the right watch for the right occasion. Make the watches like shoes there isn't a one style fits all scenarios like you, wouldn't, wear sneakers to go to a funeral or leather patent slippers on your first date in the same manner you're, not Gon na wear a cheap g-shock watch with an expensive custom suit or an expensive luxury. Looking watch with basketball, shorts and a t-shirt you see, like I said in the beginning, a watch should enhance your outfit. It's, an accessory it shouldn't, create a distraction or take away from your outfit. My recommendation invest in a watch like the one from and Cerro Madera is our sponsor, but why I like recommending them so much is that they're at the right price point, almost the sweet spot, where you can pick up one two or even Three watches to start building a collection that'll suit, almost every occasion, moreover, the Ventura quality and craftsmanship. It's, almost unparalleled at this price point. You're gonna get a watch that looks so nice, so luxurious that it's. Gon na look like you spent $ 600 plus on your wrist. When you - and I both know, you only spend around 100 bucks and since you're, my friend part of this whole TMF fam. They always share a discount. They're, always trying to hook you guys up. So if you apply that it's even more affordable - and you remember what I was saying about having the right watch for the right occasion well, this is really worth in Sarah shine. It's such a great watch, because the way lot of incentive watches are designed, especially if you go with their minimal model, which is one of my favorites. It's very simple in design which does allow you to wear it in multiple scenarios. Just one watch that way you don't have to have a 5 10 or even 20 watch collection to serve multiple purposes. They also have their cronograph model. This is one of my favorite timepieces from answer. Just look at the craftsmanship, the detail of this watch for around 100 bucks. Right now, I'm wearing a casual t-shirt. This thing looks awesome. I can grab this same. Chronograph slap it on with a custom-made suit, and it looks just as amazing and that's. What you want in a watch you want to be able to buy something that does suit you in different scenarios. That way, let's say if you were to buy a Casio g-shock, you're, not just restricted to only wear it casually. When you buy a Vince arrow, you can wear it both casually and dress. So if you want a really nice watch to start your watch collection, something that's gonna allow you to wear it. In multiple occasions you got ta check out Matt's arrow. I'm gonna happen Center. A link down below so you guys can check it out with that discount code, so you can pick one up and start an amazing collection. Now let's, talk about the third watch rule and it's, all about where your watch should be placed. Your watch should go before your wrist bone, not on it and not after it. This is so. You get full range of motion on your wrist. Like I say when you wear a watch, you don't want it to be up truces and truth, be told. I just I don't know how guys can wear it any other way, and I have seen it done before. Weren't under either the wrist bone or past the wrist bone. It's, gonna be painful. By the end of the day, you're, going to be and pay because you're, reducing the natural mobility of your wrist. So anytime, your wrist goes back even slightly it's, gonna cost pay, and that rolls me on to number 4. The watch needs to fit right. If you want the watch to sit before your wrist bone, the launch needs to be fitted for your wrist. Don't, wear a watch that's loose and looks like it's about to fall out. All that's gonna do is make you look like a noob that you just bought a watch and didn't know you have to get it properly fitted. This is why I love leather band watches, especially if you're, a beginner, because it allows you to instantly adjust the watch to your wrist, so it could fit properly. We do have a metal link bracelet. You're, going to want to visit some sort of jewelry shop where they're gonna properly size it for your rig. When it comes to sizing you don't want it to be so tight that it's, cutting your circulation just to keep it in place. You also don't want it to be loose where it's. Moving around all the time. My comfort level I like to be able to fit at least one finger, my index finger in between my watch fan and my wrist, and that gives me enough comfort. Throughout the day I'm finding the 5th and last watch rule. All men should follow it's, the size of your watch, this kind of tags along with fit just like clothing. You want your watch to fit. You right actually suit your body shape a couple of years ago. There was this horrible trend of oversized watches, which, by the way, I'm glad it's dead, because not only this, those watches just grabbed too much attention. If you had small wrists like, for example, I have pretty small wrists having those massive watches it just made your wrist look even smaller, because it was so overpowered, so it made your arms look like twigs that's, not what you want on average For the average male, your watches should be anywhere from 35 to 42 millimeters. This is the range you want to be in anything smaller, that's more women territory. So the watch is just going to be too small for your wrist and you can bigger. Like I mentioned it's, gonna be overpowered, and that's. Basically it for today's, video guys. Those are the top 5 watch rules. All men should follow if you guys liked this video and found it informative. Don't forget to drop us a like down below. Also don't forget to check out our sponsor Vance arrow. They're gonna be linked down below that's. It for me today see you next time. Read the full article

Celebrity Watches on Carpool Karaoke | SwissWatchExpo
https://www.youtube.com/embed/6dqBiKl-B-0 From SwissWatchExpo… Spotlight On: James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, and it’s celebrity watch spotting moments. James Corden scored a big hit with the viral series Carpool Karaoke, a recurring segment from his late night talk show, The Late Late Show. The English host takes actors, luminaries, and music superstars for a drive around L.A. while they sing along to their favorites, or their very own hit songs. The real stars of the show are Corden and his guests, but we can’t help but notice the bevy of timepieces on their wrists. Where there are celebrities, there are luxury watches – and we spotted good ones on this show. Check them out! James himself wears top notch timepieces from Omega and Audemars Piguet, and we spotted two of them while he’s driving. Corden is always in a suit for The Late Late Show, so the casual mood of Carpool Karaoke gives us a glimpse of his wrists. We’ve spotted James wearing a stainless steel Omega Speedmaster MoonWatch. Both iconic and versatile, the Omega Speedmaster is perfect for someone getting their feet wet in the watch world, or for collectors who want a mix of function, looks, and heritage. Speaking of iconic, James also wears the legendary Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch in stainless steel. There is no mistaking it as you can clearly see the octagonal case and integrated bracelet that has made it famous. The luxury sports watch is a nice touch to his usual polo shirt-and-jeans ensemble on the show. Enjoying this video so far? Subscribe to our channel, and get updates on new videos. Among all the episodes, James’ favorite is the one with Sir Paul McCartney, where he brought the legendary singer around his hometown of Liverpool. While Paul McCartney could probably buy any watch that he wants, he’s actually a “one watch” kind of guy. The sporty Patek Philippe Aquanaut that you see here is a constant on his wrist – he even wore it to his wedding! The versatile and sporty timepiece has a rubber strap that matches the texture of its dial, and is considered an entry point to the Patek Philippe brand.
In his Carpool Karaoke guesting, Bruno Mars piled on the bling. “More is more” seems to be Bruno Mars’ style mantra, as he doesn’t hold back on the accessories. For his appearance, he chose a black diamond dial Rolex President Day-Date in 18k yellow gold. Considered the ultimate status symbol, it’s a fitting choice for the eleven-time Grammy winner. Meanwhile, Usher kept it low-key with a blacked-out Panerai Luminor Marina Carbotech Watch. The watch has an uneven, matte black appearance which may vary depending on the cut of the material. This means no two of these watches are the same. Worn with black ensembles, this is a perfect stealth wealth watch. Finally we have the Jonas Brothers. When they reunited in 2019, they spent one week on The Late Late Show and of course had to shoot their own Carpool Karaoke segment. The brothers have very similar tastes in wristwear, appearing with a trio of Rolex GMT Master II Watches. Kevin and Joe completely twinned, both opting for the Rolex Pepsi. Nick, meanwhile, brought out the big guns, opting for the yellow gold anniversary edition with a green dial. That episode had lots of wrist candy for sure! With its slew of superstars, and amazing watches, Carpool Karaoke is definitely more than your average car ride. Which watch was your favorite? Tell us in the comments section. Rolex Datejust 16013 & Rolex Lady Datejust 69173 Steel Yellow Gold Watches His Hers | SwissWatchExpo
https://www.youtube.com/embed/Vf4y8m3LrSY Penny here with SwissWatchExpo. Taking a look at a pair of watches that could be a his and hers matching pair. The Rolex Datejust line is really great for this entire, his and hers concept because they create such similar watches in different sizes. You know these two both have Jubilee bracelets. They're both two-tone. They both got a champagne dial with Baton hour markers and little minute markers. So they could be, you know, a matching pair and a his and hers set is just a perfect idea for, you know, a very special anniversary or maybe a birthday if you already own a Rolex and you'd like to get your partner or your spouse another Rolex.
It's just such a great idea to celebrate something big or exciting. Of course it's a fun way to match what the one that you love and just such a different and unique way. Rolexes are great for that because they can be dressed up or down, especially these two classic Rolexes. They're such a steal on the secondhand market because they have great prices and you know, it's easy to find a watch that matches, even if your watch has not, has been discontinued by Rolex. So check out these two watches or try and find your perfect his and hers matching pair on SwissWatchExpo.com.. Read the full article

Apple Watch Series 6 2021 - 6 Months Later Review
https://www.youtube.com/embed/09p1IGVLiTE the apple watch series 6 was released just less than six months ago now and i thought it a good time to revisit apple's best smart watch yet and do an updated review so let's check out the apple watch series 6 in 2021 and see if it's still worth your hard cash stay tuned guys welcome back to tech it easy so the apple watch series 6. now there's many reasons why i believe the apple watch series 6 was apple's best smart watch yet and it may have even taken the crown for the best smartwatch of 2020 and believe me that's tough to say coming from a samsung fanboy first let's take a look at the ui so it's running on apple's watchos 7 and there's a lot to love about it and a few things i'm not too keen on most importantly though the watch is super smooth lagging or stuttering isn't something i've noticed a single time in the six months of using it and honestly it's a really pleasant stress-free experience almost so bearing in mind that i daily drive a samsung phone and a galaxy watch 3. I found the app tray to be a little bit difficult especially for first-time users don't get me wrong it looks and feels amazing the haptic feedback you get when zooming in and out feels awesome but for someone who might be new to apple or not quite so tech savvy it's a lot you have all these different icons which are pretty tiny and all over the place and i'm not going to lie i don't think they're quite as clear as they could be i know when i started using it it took me a good while to figure out which app was which really this is the only hugely negative thing i have to say about the apple watch series 6. but i do think simplicity would be a welcome factor into their next version of the ui for example the samsung galaxy watch 3 has the app wheel which tells you clearly which app is which admittedly it doesn't look nearly as nice as the apple watch series 6 but it is a lot more practical now you can change the menu on the apple watch series 6 to a list view which will display the names but that in my opinion doesn't work as well and it looks worse than the galaxy watch ui one thing that does look absolutely awesome in the apple watch series 6 is the watch faces they're absolutely stunning and really what make the screen pop they're also extremely customizable so you can get really creative with them though it doesn't have the choice of third-party watch faces like the galaxy watch 3 does which bothered me at first but then again the galaxy watch doesn't have the insane customizable watch faces the apple watch ships with so it's a fair trade-off really so let's get on to some more of the goodies so this time around the apple watch series 6 has a brighter screen and always on display which is a welcomed upgrade in my opinion considering these devices are going to be used for fitness outside mainly it's important that you're able to see the screen in direct sunlight another thing which is brilliant is the fast charging you can charge this up fully in just 90 minutes which does balance itself out a bit considering it does only have a mere 18 hours of battery life which yeah isn't great but it is enough to get you through the day with ease popping it on charge whilst you're in the shower or having your dinner it will mean you can make the most of all those tracking features and i suppose we should go through what those tracking features actually are so thanks to watch os 7 you can now track your sleep spo2 heart rate steps and more there's even an automatic hand wash timer which starts whenever the apple watch series 6 detects you started washing your hands something that samsung appear to have stolen whoops now if you're wondering about the accuracy of the apple watch series 6 when it comes down to spo2 and heart rate tracking i recently did a test putting it against a medical grade device and comparing it to the galaxy watch 3.
And honestly the results were favorable towards the apple watch series 6. i was really impressed with how it performed if you do want to check out that video i will put a link down in the comment section so what else can the apple watch series 6 do well you can make and receive calls get texts through and even receive emails with both the lte and the gps versions the lte version will let you make and receive calls and more even when away from the phone whilst the gps version will only have that feature available when you're in range of your smartphone in the six months of usage i've found this to work fine i have the gps version here and surprisingly i use it to make calls a lot i'm extremely busy all the time and it just allows me to continue doing what i'm doing i have no difficulty hearing anyone and haven't had any complaints about being able to hear me so the apple watch series 6 seems to be great in that department now maybe i've convinced you to take the plunge and go for it but which model should you go for if you're not particularly tech savvy you might be looking at all the various different models with a confused face so let's start with the cheapest option the apple watch se whilst not technically part of the apple watch series 6 family it was released around the same time and will likely be an option many of you are considering so what's the difference between the apple watch series 6 and the se version well first and foremost you can wave goodbye to sp02 monitoring on the se version the se version also uses the s5 system whilst the series 6 uses the s6 which is a fair bit faster that being said the s5 system is still twice as fast as a 2017 apple watch series 3 watch so not slow by any means one other feature you'll miss out on is the ecg feature that's exclusively on the apple watch series six so the se is really your budget option here still absolutely fine in my opinion though if you're relatively healthy anyway you most likely won't use the ecg feature but you may miss the sp02 monitoring feature if i'm honest but yes the apple watch se does have the green light for me in 2021 now we have the gps and the gps plus lte models so the models with lte at the end mean they can be used on their own as a cellular device as i mentioned earlier allowing you to make and receive calls without the need for your smartphone around these are typically more expensive though so really think about whether this is a feature you're really going to need gps version can still make and receive calls but you must be near your phone lastly there is just a size which is pretty obvious but if you do opt for the larger version there will be another price increase personally i think most of you will be fine with the smaller version and i'd honestly just go for the gps version most of us have our phones on us all the time anyway so it wouldn't make much of a difference people who might want to opt for the larger 44 millimeter version and the lte version are those of you who like your sport so cycling and running and doing a lot of things when you're quite far away from the house and don't really want to lug your phone around with you so yeah that was a quick revisit and buying guide i guess for the apple watch series 6 in 2021 one last note i do expect there to be a newer model later on in the year the apple watch series 7. However with the feature set on the apple watch series 6 i can't see it becoming useless anytime soon so i wouldn't let that stop you from buying one if you did want to wait until september time for the newer model make sure you still consider the apple watch series 6 as the price will most likely drop a little making it an even more excellent value buy if you do want to check the prices there will be links down in the description for a few different countries anyway guys let me know down in the comment section your thoughts on the apple watch series 6 in 2021 and if there's anything else i can help you with i'll try and do my best but for now thank you so much for watching and hopefully i'll see you in the next one Read the full article

My Luxury Watch Collection - What Piece Should I Add Next? 🤔
https://www.youtube.com/embed/FjB1xQc6cPU Whats up guys? My name is George and today CRM Jewelers asked me to come back and bring out my favorite watches from my collection, so lets talk about it. Hey guys, let's start with the watch that started my passion for watches and that watch is the Omega Seamaster. Now this particular version is a ceramic one, but when I was a little kid GoldenEye came out and Pierce Brosnan was Bond at that time and he wore a quartz aluminum one and then the second I saw that watch he used as a gadget, I'm just, man, going out killing people, being a baller, going out with a bunch of women, I fell in love with watches. Really this is the watch that got me into it and then in 2017, I was very happy to finally pick one up and regardless of what I collection, this will always be a keeper and it's one of my favorite watches ever made. The second watch that I added to my collection was this Submariner Hulk. Now this watch was given to me by my father for my High School graduation and my dad knows me very well. He knows that I like to stand out and be different, so he didn't go for a black bezel one or a black dial. He went for a green one. This piece is kind of my I wanna go out piece, kind of stand out. If I'm in Club Space and I wanna look cool or different, I'll rock this while everyone else kind of rocks a black one and I love it. It's so distinct. It's so different, but also classic at the same time and that's really the appeal of this piece. It's absolutely fantastic. The dial plays with the light all day long, the different shades of green, and it's a Rolex. I mean, the most reputable brand in the world in watches, so you can't go wrong there. So the next piece I want to get out today, a taste of Rolex quality, was this Batman here. Now the Batman is one of those watches that it's kind of a must have now at this point in collectors...for most collectors I would say, so I sold a clothing company somewhat recently, last couple of years. I bought this watch to commemorate that and now I have a new company, I'm traveling a lot, so I wanted a GMT. This watch fits the bill perfectly. So this last piece that I've added recently is this Royal Oak Chronograph AP and I kind of feel a little guilty for buying this watch, cuz it's a little on the expensive side, but I really wanted to get to that next level in watch collecting and you know AP fits the bill the bill. It's quality, quality, quality. This bracelet is like jewelry, honestly, the way they constructed it is incredible. The fit and the finish is amazing and yeah guys, it's just the next level and then after this hopefully maybe Patek or who knows, even Richard Mille.
Today we talked about the first watch that got me into watches, which is the Omega Seamaster. My graduation watch from my dad, which is the Rolex Hulk Submariner, which really is the best going out watch you can possibly have in my opinion. The second is a watch called the GMT Batman and I bought it to commemorate the business I sold recently. And this AP is to commemorate my next level in my collection game. And yeah, from here it's going to only go up, so let's see. Basically as you see here on the table, most of these pieces are stainless steel. So let me know, should I add a gold piece, a two-tone piece, maybe a platinum or even white gold. Let me know in the comments below. And yeah guys, I hope you enjoyed this video. This is George from Avant Garde and hope to see you next time.. Read the full article

SevenFriday Watches Review | aBlogtoWatch
https://www.youtube.com/embed/L-EuFsgPAPg everyone our lm2 were the blog to watch please subscribe to our videos on YouTube and like this video if you find it useful this is a review of seven Friday watch's seven Friday is a relatively new brand it's a Swiss brand but we'll get to that the second came in around 2013 maybe late 2012 and last year in 2013 it was it was kind of a big deal it was a very popular kind of start up brand for a couple of reasons and one of those was the price now the ironic thing about Swiss Friday is that while it's a Swiss brand based in Zurich these are not Swiss made watches these are watches that do have European parts but they contain a Japanese Miata movement so it's one of those rare circumstances you actually have a company in Switzerland that you know is not at all Swiss made because Swiss made implies it has a Swiss movement I mean there's more to it than that but I'm just going to go with a simple response now now I want to explore a little bit why I think this that seven Friday watches were popular we have four different versions right here there's I don't know maybe about I think there's less than 10 overall versions and I know that a new model is coming out for 2014 but let's just let's just take a look so what you have is a square a rounded square case I guess you can call it cushion shape but it feels more like a rounded square to me so it's it's almost it's a little bit taller than as wide actually bits about its it's basically forty seven millimeter wide square which is quite a big watch not enormous ly thick but definitely not the thinnest watch in the world definitely a bold design what people really liked about it was how complex the dial was and everything it seemed to do for a relatively good price that I think when it came out was about a thousand dollars it's a little bit more right now because the price is actually in Swiss francs not in dollars so it's going to fluctuate a little bit also has this kind of cool industrial look to it so you know we actually did a review on a blog to watch closer to when they came out it was by one of the other writers not myself and I actually didn't have a lot of experience with the seven Friday watches so what I wanted to do is say you know what I need to give it the Arielle Addams take eventually and so that's that's what I'm going to do today and we'll have a written review coming soon as well now the different versions here have different color dials as well as slight differences in the case so for example this version has a a rubber coated edging so yes the case is black but it also has a rubber coated edging this is the has the model on the back here where is it this is the p3o one and the most basic model sort of the originals this one does the p101 just has a steel case kind of a sandblast or a brush side there as well actually this is actually one of the least expensive models and I think it's my favorite to be honest I just happen to like how it all comes together that polished steel case with that nice slightly slightly shiny leather strap but as you can see there's definitely a lot of mixes the mix that mix up in the in the design so this one is kind of um I think this one is just well it has a combination of finishes they're sort of a dark grey here so you have you have this sort of sandblasted look to it on the bezel and some different finishes you have some gold tone on the dial as well as as well as per Lodge you can see there on the dial there and you know so this one is a slightly different version as well same strap is its original one I'm here of course again on the sporty one you have this kind of perforated leather strap and of course there's another one with another different kind of gold-tone in there it's a little piece of paper there actually this watch when you get it it comes with paper in the strap between the strap in the case to protect it so you have to pull out the paper that's why it was there this one also has an interesting finish on here that the other ones don't have it's it's also kind of a sandblasted but it's a little bit more rough so it gives a little bit of a shine to it which is kind of interesting so each of these is an interesting look I don't think that all of them are for everyone but I do applaud 7 Friday's effort to kind of mix it up a little bit and and some of the detailing czar actually very impressed if you look at the buckle there you this nice kind of shape that little touch of the gold-tone there that really mimics the case in a very very nice way something that you would normally not find on a watch of this price point so how does that forty seven millimeter wide case look on the wrist well it's quite big it's actually bigger than the bell Rossby ro1 which is a 46 millimeter wide square so 47 this is probably among the larger sort of watches that you can buy today but honestly it looks quite nice and part of the reason it doesn't we're you know huge is because of the lug list design so the fact that there are no lugs and the fact that the strap integrates directly to the case I think makes it work really well so excuse me what was the what was sort of the thoughts of the designer and the owner of the company when he's making this brand well he was in the watch industry for quite some time and he basically said that he was disillusioned a little bit he thought the prices were ridiculous he thought some of the distribution models were kind of silly and so he said himself you know what I'm gonna I'm gonna do it myself I'm gonna make my own watch brand and I'm going to make a cool design for a fair price and I want to do with an Asian movement because Asian movements aren't that bad even those Swiss ones are very good and I want to have kind of a funky thing so it's to a degree there's a bit of a satire and the design and you look at the dial closely there's little indicators on here that says things like seven Friday industrial series and it has a bunch of like you know numbers and things on there and some of those are the model numbers but there's you know it says here it says automatic release number uno I'm not sure that these half these numbers even mean anything but he's kind of he's kind of playing with the idea that some of these brands create these overly pretentious watches that you know don't necessarily have a lot of meaning to all the things they say and here he's doing kind of a less expensive price playing with the idea of a modern industrially styled mechanical watch so what does the dial do it looks a lot more complicated than actually is the me Odom movement that he uses isn't automatic you can't see the rotor but it isn't automatic and it tells you a couple different things so first of all you have you have a normal hour in minute hand even though it looks kind of strange you do have a normal hour in minute hand minute-hand here is connected this big disc and it's right here right there is where the minute hand is and then the hour hand is kind of peeking underneath it right there so when I first saw these it was like oh this is gonna be one of those watches that you tell the time in this totally strange way that's not the case at all and then right here you have a disc underneath what's basically the hour hand right now and that's just a running seconds hand and then you have another disc over here which is a synchronized 24-hour hand so for all intents and purposes that's basically an ampm indicator and then right here you have a window which shows you a view of the oscillator so that's basically what's going on with a dial and it looks of course you know much more crazy and weird than it is but I think it's successful I've actually like I don't like it on all versions so I think for example this version the dial for whatever reason doesn't look as attractive to me as this one I really the original one is really one that that that draws my attention I do like this one however I find this one both easier and harder to read so for example the hour hand because it's red is a little bit easier to point out but I think some of the elements make a little dark it's a little bit not as high contrast but this is not exactly what I would call a very high contrast watch so what are my overall thoughts well I still think it's a good value for the money and I can see why a lot of people like it I wouldn't consider it a daily where I think it's it's more kind of kind of novelty watch ish if anything because it's it's the type of thing that I think that you'll wear it's a casual watch for sure and you'll wear it when you want to go out and have fun it's definitely not a dress watch but it just has a kind of design that isn't something you want to wear all the time having said that it is a cool design it's definitely bold it's definitely avant-garde so if you're the type of person that has a lot of watches and you want to get something kind of unique and strange that isn't going to be a daily wear but is going to be something that you're going to want to wear from time to time it's definitely a low risk investment if you want if you want like your first nice watch or your first mechanical watch or something like that I don't know that this is the type of timepiece that's going to you know be something you want to strap on and daily it's certainly not a versatile enough with your wardrobe I can say that even though there are many interesting versions overall I like what they do and I'm very curious to see what they're coming out with next whereas I was skeptical to begin with I am definitely a fan I don't think that their each one is in itself a masterpiece but I overall think that that seven Friday is on to something with a European designed watch with an affordable Japanese mechanical movement in a fun way that doesn't take itself too seriously they don't go out and say we're the we're the next best thing in the world they just sort of have a cool sight a cool concept and you know you can buy their watches online so how what's the price is like I keep talking about price well this one retails for um 925 Swiss francs I think that is the absolute floor that's the cheapest you can go so that's about a thousand dollars and then I don't think that we have the version here in front of us but the prices go up to about 1300 Swiss francs and there's a little bit in the middle there I think it averages about a thousand Swiss francs so again you're going to have to do the conversion I think that's going to be about a thousand to twelve hundred bucks per watch which again isn't isn't in the scheme of things totally cheap but it's not ten thousand it's not twenty thousand dollars and I have to say that for the money the quality is very good the fit and finish is impressive you know you have a set you have a sapphire crystal you you basically have a lot of impressive elements on there that I did I appreciate and so I think that for the money it's definitely not something you're going to look at and be disappointed but it's not an it's not a daily wear it's not an everyday wear but it again so I know I'm going on I'm flipping back and forth on it I am impressed I just think that you need to be very aware of your own taste and very aware of your own collection what you like to get something like this but I think that for a lot of people this is definitely satisfying and cool and if I saw somebody wearing it I'd be like okay that guy has something neat and they probably have a lot of their cool watches in their collection okay so there you have it these are seven Friday watches and you can see the full review on the blog to watch Thanks you Read the full article

Apple Watch Milanese Loop Band [Review]
https://www.youtube.com/embed/hGVmAtQFXDU hey guys it's something I'll hear today we're going to check it out the Apple watch Melanie sloop now I use it all day or for the most part of the day yesterday along with the leather loop that I'll be making a video afterwards but this is a hundred and fifty dollars in this for the 38 millimeter version and here I'm going to go ahead and unbox it again I boxed it back up as much as I could so you guys could see the way that it comes but uh I'm going to do such a good job but you can see that it's the exact same box that we get with the Apple watch sport and we open this box up and we're going to get the Milanese loop here so let's put this to one side and I tried to put it back on the packaging the same way came and I believe this is how it came but it definitely feels premium and looks pretty cool too so we just remove this wrapper right here and the silky smooth metal comes right out and let's move this all the way over there so we don't have any distractions and here it is you can kind of just tell on camera how silky and kind of soft this is which is what's cool about this it just I don't know it just reminds me of kind of like an armor or a special suit that is made out of woven metal but it definitely is really cool I try to out the Apple store and from using it yesterday it feels really good it feels much better than you would expect metal to feel but we just go ahead and put it right here and I put it the wrong way of course because why not why not put it the wrong way right it goes in with the metal side see the metal right here how it doesn't have any color it goes with that side down and let's see if we can get this correctly there we go we go on to the other side and we just attach that there and here we have it looks pretty cool what's the coolest part about this is that it doesn't come out the band always stays attached right there which is cool let me get this closer for you guys so you can see that and you know that allows you to always just keep it there and then attach it to you so it's kind of like the leather loop in the way that it connects but it never falls out which is super cool so you open it to the biggest size and you go ahead and kind of wiggle yourself right there and you put it on yeah grab it from this side you pull it and you choose the desired length and there you go it's ready to go you can kind of see it there it looks pretty good with this stainless steel model and this is the 38 millimeter version which I feel like most men will not get because it feels like a very I feel like a lot of women could sport this but not a lot of men could really sport this I mean if you're a man and you like the color and you like everything then you're going to be able to support it just fine I just personally don't believe that especially not the 38 millimeter version but the 42 millimeter version might be better because you can see kind of how small it looks on my hand and I have thin wrists so this thing is tiny and yeah you can kind of see how it looks there now the most important thing is of course wrist movement and this allows a good amount maybe even more than the leather loop to be able to move your hand before it begins to hurt so I still don't recommend working out with this one but you definitely could if you want it to but uh that metal isn't going to feel all that great after your sweat goes into it which is why it's always good to use a sport band for working out you don't want to get all these expensive bands wet or I mean you could but you wouldn't want to especially with sweat but uh yeah the best way to take it off that I found out was to pull it here and then you pull this here and you let it drop because if you don't do that then the magnet is gonna stick the hand and it'll be a little bit more difficult but yeah if you do get it take it off like that it's much quicker and there it is you can just see how it's okay that's what's cool about it but let's go ahead and remove this real quick I'm going to put it on on the black Apple watch sport just so you guys can see how that looks because I know some people might be interested but let's go ahead and attach it here just goes on the same way we said before and this is the 42 millimeter version so this is going to be a little bit small on that but you can still kind of see the color combination here the block in the silver but uh yeah I don't think it really goes that well doesn't really match might be better with the what Apple watch sport let's go ahead and let's tie this up again and let it go move it into place and you can see how it looks they're definitely not that great looks a little bit off it just doesn't seem like it goes with that watch but you can kind of see how it looks there and let's go ahead and remove it again and just show it to you like this but uh yeah guys it was just to show you the Milanese loop if you're thinking about getting it now hopefully this video helps in some way and yeah the comfort level is definitely up there and it's the most comfortable metal band that I've ever tried it's incredibly smooth and it doesn't add too much weight to the watch which is nice and yeah that's the Milanese loop and $450 you can get something that might make your Apple watch look more expensive I guess but uh you know I feel like the Apple watch sport bands are really great and these you might only end up using them for whenever you're not working out so you're getting this as a workout watch then whoops you definitely don't want to get the more expensive bands but uh you're going to use it also as a normal watch from time to time then I guess the these expensive bands might you know make the watch look more like a watch and less like a fitness band but uh hey guys if you have any questions feel free to comment down below and I'll get back to you as soon as I can and you know if you haven't subscribe to the channel please consider doing so for more videos coming in the near future but aside from that as always guys I'll catch you guys in the next video Read the full article

SevenFriday Watches Review | aBlogtoWatch
https://www.youtube.com/embed/L-EuFsgPAPg everyone our lm2 were the blog to watch please subscribe to our videos on YouTube and like this video if you find it useful this is a review of seven Friday watch's seven Friday is a relatively new brand it's a Swiss brand but we'll get to that the second came in around 2013 maybe late 2012 and last year in 2013 it was it was kind of a big deal it was a very popular kind of start up brand for a couple of reasons and one of those was the price now the ironic thing about Swiss Friday is that while it's a Swiss brand based in Zurich these are not Swiss made watches these are watches that do have European parts but they contain a Japanese Miata movement so it's one of those rare circumstances you actually have a company in Switzerland that you know is not at all Swiss made because Swiss made implies it has a Swiss movement I mean there's more to it than that but I'm just going to go with a simple response now now I want to explore a little bit why I think this that seven Friday watches were popular we have four different versions right here there's I don't know maybe about I think there's less than 10 overall versions and I know that a new model is coming out for 2014 but let's just let's just take a look so what you have is a square a rounded square case I guess you can call it cushion shape but it feels more like a rounded square to me so it's it's almost it's a little bit taller than as wide actually bits about its it's basically forty seven millimeter wide square which is quite a big watch not enormous ly thick but definitely not the thinnest watch in the world definitely a bold design what people really liked about it was how complex the dial was and everything it seemed to do for a relatively good price that I think when it came out was about a thousand dollars it's a little bit more right now because the price is actually in Swiss francs not in dollars so it's going to fluctuate a little bit also has this kind of cool industrial look to it so you know we actually did a review on a blog to watch closer to when they came out it was by one of the other writers not myself and I actually didn't have a lot of experience with the seven Friday watches so what I wanted to do is say you know what I need to give it the Arielle Addams take eventually and so that's that's what I'm going to do today and we'll have a written review coming soon as well now the different versions here have different color dials as well as slight differences in the case so for example this version has a a rubber coated edging so yes the case is black but it also has a rubber coated edging this is the has the model on the back here where is it this is the p3o one and the most basic model sort of the originals this one does the p101 just has a steel case kind of a sandblast or a brush side there as well actually this is actually one of the least expensive models and I think it's my favorite to be honest I just happen to like how it all comes together that polished steel case with that nice slightly slightly shiny leather strap but as you can see there's definitely a lot of mixes the mix that mix up in the in the design so this one is kind of um I think this one is just well it has a combination of finishes they're sort of a dark grey here so you have you have this sort of sandblasted look to it on the bezel and some different finishes you have some gold tone on the dial as well as as well as per Lodge you can see there on the dial there and you know so this one is a slightly different version as well same strap is its original one I'm here of course again on the sporty one you have this kind of perforated leather strap and of course there's another one with another different kind of gold-tone in there it's a little piece of paper there actually this watch when you get it it comes with paper in the strap between the strap in the case to protect it so you have to pull out the paper that's why it was there this one also has an interesting finish on here that the other ones don't have it's it's also kind of a sandblasted but it's a little bit more rough so it gives a little bit of a shine to it which is 12 lesser-known Apple Watch features you should start using
https://www.youtube.com/embed/R7oMIKU1IrU The Apple Watch can do so much. It’s no wonder it’s now the most popular watch in the world. But many of the most useful features and controls for your Apple Watch are, not exactly hidden, but hard to discover. So here we go, rapid-fire, a DOZEN helpful tips for using your Apple Watch. First, screenshots. You take a screenshot by holding down the side button and clicking the digital crown. Pressing both at once usually works fine. You’ll have to enable this first in the Watch app on your iPhone. Look for the toggle in the General section. Number 2, change the app list from the hexagonal grid to a list view. Just force-press on the app grid, and you’ll get an option to display it as a grid or a list. I find the list a lot easier to manage. Number 3 is just for the Apple Watch Series 4 or newer. They have a really great fall detection feature, but it’s only on by default if you’re 65 or older. To enable it for any age, go to the Watch app on your iPhone, and look in the Emergency SOS section. Four, covering and muting the display. Just cover your watch with your palm for a second to quickly turn off the display. When you get a notification, you can mute your watch by holding your palm over it for three seconds, until you feel a buzz. Five, send an incoming call straight to voicemail by double-tapping the side button. Speaking of calls, tip number six lets you answer a call on your iPhone. Swipe up on the incoming call screen, and choose Answer on iPhone. Your iPhone will answer but place the call on hold until you can go pick it up. Tip number seven: You can quickly hop between your current app (or watch face) and the last app you had open by double-tapping the digital crown. It’s just like double-tapping the home button on an iPhone. Eight: If you have a lot of notifications, you don’t have to swipe them away one at a time. Just force-press the notifications list, and you’ll see a Clear All option. Nine: You can send a map with your location on it in a in a text message. With the message thread open, force-touch the screen and tap Send Location. Tip number 10: If you’re having trouble reading your tiny watch screen, here are a couple options to help you out. In the Watch app on your iPhone, go to General, then Accessibility. You’ll see an option for Bold Text. There’s also a Zoom option you can enable. To use zoom, double-tap your watch using two fingers to zoom in and out, and use two fingers to pan around. Can’t find your phone? Tip number 11 is to swipe up on your watch to show the control center, and tap the “Ping iPhone” button to make your phone emit a loud sound. And if you hold down this button, your iPhone will flash, so you can find it in the dark. And finally, our last tip: You know all those stats that show when you’re doing a workout? Well, you can customize those for each individual type of workout. Open the Watch app on your iPhone, tap on Workout, then Workout View. You’ll see a list of workouts. Tap one, then tap the Edit button in the upper right to change it up. Obviously, there’s so much more your Apple Watch can do. But hopefully these tips will get you to start using yours in a way that you never knew you could.. Read the full article

5 Tips To Buy A Quality Watch | Watch Buying Guide For Men | Purchase Watches Like A Pro
5 Tips To Buy A Quality Watch Watch Buying Guide For Men Purchase Watches Like A Pro Hello! I'm Antonio. I'm the founder of Real Men Real Style. Today, I'm going to give you five tips on how to go out there and buy a quality watch without getting ripped off. Guys, really quick. I'm going to start this off with a story. I was ripped off once, actually, on five watches. I'm in Hong Kong almost a decade ago, there on business, exploring the city and I see all these watches out there. I get pulled into a backroom. No, I didn't get mugged but I kind of did because I spent $500 on five watches which were fakes. To this day, I've still got those watches. I've got a Breitling. I've got a couple of Rolexes. I have this Louis Vuitton. And I never wear them because I violated a couple of my rules here. And really quick, those rules are, number one, educate yourself. Number two, understand what true value is. Number three, make sure that when you buy something it has buyer protection. Point number four is make sure you understand the economics of pricing. And point number five, have fun with whatever you buy. And if you look at all those rules, I violated them whenever I purchased those watches in the back alley years ago. So let's get into a little bit more detail. But before I get started guys, I want to thank The Fifth Watches. They're a really cool company down in Australia and they are killing it on Instagram. I want you to go check out their account. These guys, they reached out to me. They said, "Antonio, can you put together some good videos on watches?" I said sure. In fact, they sent me some samples. They came in a really nice case. Again, The Fifth Watches. When you open this up -- What I like about presentation like this is it makes a great gift. Look at that. Beautiful. In fact, they come in five different designs. These five different designs are available on the fifth of the month for five days only. Go get on their VIP wait list and they open up on the fifth of the month and they're available for five days. I know they make a limited number. Some of the styles are actually sold out within hours, very cool company. I'm impressed with the quality. And I'll use them as a little bit of an example. But guys, if you go over and check out their website and you leave me a comment down below, I'd love to hear which of the styles you really like and send me an email. And what I'll do is I get you a free copy of my PDF. I've got a PDF that goes into a lot more detail. I know some of you guys are wondering, "Antonio, how can I be able to read this out? Can you talk more about the movement? Can you talk more about the inside details of the watches and how to spot quality?" And I'll talk about that in the PDF. So let's get back to the points. Point number one. I talked about educating yourself. Guys, there's no getting around it. You're going to have to go out there and you're going to have to learn more about watches. But it's not that hard. And believe me, there's a whole industry that is built around this because we love it. I mean, there's something about watches that makes them really cool. It's become collector's items. You hear people, there are entire forums dedicated to this stuff. And immediately I'm thinking websites to go check out, a blog to watch. You're going to want to go check out worn&wound, watchuseek is a pretty good forum. There's also brand specific watches. So if you look to purchase Rolex or Breitling or some of these other ones, you can find very specific ones to that. I'll talk about that at the end why that's important. TimeZone is another great website. But you can also go to tried and true websites, which I've talked about in the past. So go over to Art of Manliness, go check out Gentlemen's Gazette, Primer Magazine. All these guys, you're going to have an intro to watches. But you want to get excited about watches. Because there's a lot out there. You can even go to your local watch store or maybe it's going to be a department store that sells watches. Speak with the guy working behind there. You may find yourself an expert, someone that you can talk with and engage with. Also, there's magazines out there. Some of you, guys, like to just get a magazine once a month. I would recommend if you find some good ones. And there's even an app out there. It's called Watchville. They'll bring in all the information out there. The point is, guys, I want you to dive into this. Because when you are informed, when you have an understanding of what we're talking about, you're going to be able to make a much better decision. Point number two is value. And value isn't -- Why do I have this before pricing? Because I believe that the true value of a watch is how often you wear it times how it makes you feel divided by the price. So price isn't the most important thing. I know some of you guys are on a budget. Most of us are on a budget actually. The example I had here, these fakes. How many times do you think I've worn this Rolex? Zero. How much did I pay for it? $100. The way it makes me feel, number of wears, is basically zero divided by 100. This was a complete failure as watch. Versus this one I got from The Fifth. I feel really good about it. It's reasonably priced. It's reasonably priced, about $100. It's a nice looking watch. I've already got compliments on it. So the value of this watch is much higher than all these fakes I've gotten. And that's what I want you think about. Because I don't want you -- I would rather you have save up for the watch you want or when you out there and purchase one, buy one that you're going to get a lot of wears out of them. But make sure that you get value out of the watch that you want. So let's talk about point number three, which is buyer protection. And this one is really important especially when you're looking to buy a watch online. You want to make sure that you buy from a reputable buyer. You want to make sure that you buy from a reputable company. Those are two things which will have an effect. When you buy from a reputable buyer, if it's get damaged in shipping, if something happens where you get a defective, you can actually work with them to resolve the situation. When it comes to warrantees, that's where having a manufacturer who stands behind what he builds is very important. Because if it's a year in and you spent $1000 or $500 on that watch, then you want to make sure you're getting the right item. Now, that brings us to point number four, which is the price economics of watches. Now, understand some of these things are in their own world. But in general, price, $250 under, that's going to be consumer watches. These are fashion watches, watches that you can purchase to go with an outfit to feel good about. If they break after a few years, you're not going to feel too bad. Maybe you will. But these are not big investment watches for most people that talk about watches. Now, under $1000, we're going to start to see a lot of brands, higher end brands and that's where you really want to be careful. Because there are some great deals out there, there are some not great deals that are simply resting on their laurels and selling it because of the brand. Beyond and under from $1000 to $10000, we start to get into luxury. And that's where you're going to start some very well known names. You're going to see Citizen, Breitling. This is where you want to make sure you're getting what you pay for. This is the world of luxury watches. And beyond $10,000, ultra luxury watches. And guys, what drives these prices? Oftentimes it's going to be exclusivity. It's going to be the material. Some of these watches have diamonds in them or they're made from gold. All of these things have an effect. Also the name and the heritage of the watch is going to have an effect. Now, I haven't really talked about heirloom watches. And that's for a whole another video. I will say, guys, my stance on this is that watches are not an investment. Point number five. I think this one is probably the most important one. Buy something that you're going to enjoy and you're actually going to wear. So I'd been wearing this watch from The Fifth Watches for a while. And my wife, I didn't tell about it, she looked at it and she said, "Nice watch." And she looked at it and she complimented me on it and we talked a little bit about it and then she was surprised to hear the price was only $100. But that is where you get great value. I don't normally wear a watch. In fact, getting into watches was something I wanted to do for a long time. So I'm enjoying it. I'm getting compliments. I'm going to wear it tonight to take my kids to dance. Because it's a conversation starter. It's something you can have fun with, you can enjoy. If you're going to buy a higher end watch like a Rolex or a Breitling, go look at those forums. Go join the Citizen forum and have fun, enjoy it. Treat it like what it is. It's something that it's not just a functional piece although that's a key component. But it's also a piece that you should enjoy and you should build and add into your wardrobe. So that's it, guys. Hopefully, you enjoy the five tips. All of the videos and information I put out here at Real Men Real Style, I'm going to link over to the article, which will go into more detail. And guys, if you go over to the article, you can also download that PDF, which I mentioned. But I would love to hear from you in the comments down below which of the styles over at The Fifth Watch do you really like. And I've got one right here. This is the white on brown. I also showed you guys the black on black. I guess, if you're an all black rugby fan, this would be a great watch for you. But guys, let me know down the comments and make sure to go over to Real Men Real Style, send me an email. I want to make sure that you get that free PDF, which I'm going to go into more detail, more about the intricacies and the hand details, the materials, the band, all of that stuff, so that you can make an informed purchasing decision. Take care, guys. See you in the next video. End of Audio hello I'm Antonia I'm the founder of real men real style and today I'm going to give you five tips on how to go out there and buy a quality watch without getting ripped off guys really quick I'm gonna start this off with a story I was ripped off once actually on five watches I'm in Hong Kong almost a decade ago there on business exploring the city and I see all these watches out there I get pulled into a back room no I didn't get mugged but I kind of did because I spent five hundred dollars on five watches which were fakes and to this day I've still got those watches I've got a Breitling I've got a couple Rolexes have this louis vuitton and you know what I never wear because I violated a couple of my rules here and really quick those rules are number one educate yourself number two understand what true value is number three make sure whenever you buy something at s buyer protection point number four is make sure you understand the economics of pricing and point number five have fun with whatever you buy and if you look at all of those rules I violate them whenever I purchased those watches in that back alley years ago let's get back to the points point number one I 9 Great Watches for Small Wrists (Under 40mm) // Seiko, Rolex, Hamilton and MORE
What's up guys? My name is Brock. You're watching The Modest Man and today we're talking about some great watches for guys with a smaller wrist. Okay, if you clicked on this video, then you might have a smaller wrist, like I do. But if you're not sure about your wrist size, it's a good idea to measure. So, to measure your wrist, you just need a soft tape like a tailor's tape. You can also just use a piece of string. Wrap it around your wrist and then measure that string. But you want to wrap it around at the widest part of your wrist, right over the bone, and then that's your wrist measurement. So, my wrist is about six and a third inches around, that's definitely on the slender side. I think anything under 7 inches could be considered small, but if you're like six and a half inches or less, I would say that you should stick with smaller sized watches. Now, when we talk about watch size, we're really talking about the case diameter. That's the most important measurement. So, that's just how big is the case without the lugs or the crown and a small watch could be considered anything that's under 40mm in case diameter. I prefer like 38mm or less. I'll definitely wear watches that are 36 or 34mm. I think those are great sizes if you have smaller wrists. If you have a smaller wrist, I think under 40mm is the way to go. So, I've asked a few of my fellow YouTubers and watch enthusiasts to share some of their favorite watches for smaller wrists, under 40 millimeters and then after we hear from them, I will share one of my favorite watches for guys with small wrists. These are great guys, who really know their stuff. So, if you haven't already checked out their channels, definitely go do that. All right gentlemen, take it away. Hey gents, all feels right in the world when I have a small watch on my wrist. At 6'4" and 170, I'm tall and slim, but with six and a quarter inch wrist, I like something that's a little bit more subtle and elegant. I have videos on my channel, where I talk about my favorite watch in my collection, which is my 34mm Omega, which is a bumper model from the 50s. But if you can't go with something that's a little more vintage, I have two recommendations for modest wrists. Number 1 is from a company called Nordgreen. This is the Philosopher model. It's 36mm only, 7. 2mm thick. So, it has that really nice slim small profile, comes in at the $200 price point and it is designed by Jakob Wagner, who comes from Bang & Olufsen and he also has an exhibit in MoMA. It's a quartz movement, but it is hackable and so not only do they have several different metals and sizes, but they're nice slim and sleek and much better than most other fashion brands I've come across. Number 2 is from the Internet's favorite watch brand, which is Orient. This is their Stella model at 36mm. The list price is $350. It was $210 when I was doing this video. It's 12.5mm thick, and it has an open heart displaying the F6T22 movement. So, it's automatic, it's hand whining and hack-able as well. There you have it gents, two excellent affordable and modest size watches for those wrists. Thank you Brock for letting me represent Tall Guys on The Modest Man. If you want to know about the best menswear on the Internet, regardless of height, come over to my channel at The Kavalier. Until next time gents, this is The Kavalier. What's up fellas! My name is Barron, and I run a men's style website and YouTube channel called Effortless Gent. So my favorite watch, in particular, for my small wrist is my Rolex DateJust 16030. Now, I know it's not the most affordable watch, but I think if you can only have one really nice versatile watch, this is the way to go. The 16030 is a vintage model, this is in the early to mid 80s. It has a black dial that measures 36mm. I think that is the perfect size for smaller wrists. My wrist measures six-and-a-half inches around, and I think it fits perfectly. Although if I did have a bigger wrist, I wouldn't say that this watch looks terrible on that either. I think it's a really handsome watch, that will look good even if your wrist is 7 pushing 7. 5 inches around. I think what I love most about this watch is the versatility. Now, I could wear it with jeans and a sweater on my days off, but I could also dress it up with a suit. The jubilee bracelet is a really nice touch and just that steel, all steel watch, with a black dial, it just looks really sharp. Ofcourse, many brands like Seiko, Citizen, etc. make watches that are very similar, very simple, steel bracelets with steel casing and a black dial. So, you don't have to go the Rolex route, but I think if you are looking for something, that is vintage, that will last a long time, I think this is the way to go, and there are many resources online that you can check out, that you can actually buy a vintage Rolex for a relatively affordable price. All right fellows, I hope you like my suggestion. Thank you to Brock for having me in this roundup, and if you want to see more videos from me, please check out my channel, Effortless Gent. What's going on guys! Teddy Baldassare here, and a big thank you to Brock, for letting me come back on the channel. So, I have a youtube channel, talk all about wristwatches and really the whole goal of it is to create a new generation of watch lovers. So, if you want to learn more about watches, definitely go over there, subscribe, I'd really appreciate it. So, when thinking about watches for smaller wrists, this is something I've talked about a good amount. I wanted to pick a watch that I personally own and that is the Nomos Ahoi Neomatik. So, my wrist is 6. 25 inches. So, definitely on the smaller side of things, and when I wear this watch, I really don't get any overhang but the one thing you have to be cognizant of, when you're buying Nomis watches is the lugs are rather long. So, that 36mm, certainly is a little bit deceiving because this watch is going to wear more like a 38 to 40mm watch, with its lug to lug height, a thing that you really need to consider, it has a 45mm. And why I like this watch? I think it has a clean minimalist aesthetic. On top of that, it has an in-house caliber like I mentioned, and the 200 meters water resistance while not having a traditional diver bezel. Has all the specs of a diver, except does not have the bulky design that a lot of divers have. So, that is my choice here today. Thanks again to Brock for having me on, and hope to see you guys on my channel in the future. What's up everybody! I'm Alessandro; and Brock, thank you so much for having me on your channel today. I'm the host of The Standard Wrist, a channel, where we talk about watches for small wrists and general watch talk. Lists, reviews, these kind of things. Today, I'm rocking one of my favorites Seiko 5s ever and that is the Seiko SNXS79K. This one has a 37mm case, which suits my six inch wrist, no problem; and this has got to be the best looking dial for around $120. I mean, look at that gorgeous sunburst dial. This looks awesome in casual outfit or in a business environment. The supplied bracelet looks okay. Doesn't feel all that great, but put this bad boy on a suede needle strap and boom! It looks the absolute business. I've been rocking this one at a Grand Seiko event and people were actually asking me about it. This is just how good it looks. You just can't go wrong with this one and if you want to check my review, just go to my channel, The Standard Wrists. In the meantime, thank you so much again Brock for having me, and guys, stay stylish and keep watching! What's up YouTube! I am Christian from Theo and Harris. Thank You Brock, for having me on the channel. You asked me to bring my favorite conservatively sized watch; a watch that fits super well on a smaller wristed gentleman. But, since I own a thousand watches, that fit those criteria perfectly, I brought you three. Omega Seamaster, it may not look like it, but this is an original classic sports watch. Great examples can be had between a $1,000 and $2,300, and they are some of my favorite watches. Next, a Cartier Tank Louie. Something that I get a disproportionate amount of use from, because I happen to love dressing up. But a watch like this definitely belongs in everyone's collection. And finally Rolex's DateJust. The watch that I've built my entire career and watches around. It measures in 36mm. It wears extremely modern, beefy and substantial. I think it's probably the perfect middle ground between old and new worlds. So, that's it, those are my picks. Thank you so much for having me on. All right, thank you guys. So for me, one of my favorite watches for smaller wrists is the Hamilton Field Officer Khaki Mechanical - kind of a mouthful. I think it's usually just called the Hamilton Khaki Mechanical. It's the manual wind diversion of this watch, so there's an automatic version, but this version is a little bit thinner, so I really like the size. It's got a 38mm case diameter, which is a very universally flattering size. Even guys with bigger wrists, I think look really good wearing a 38mm watch. It's a Swiss made watch, but it's from a brand that was American originally, and it has a lot of cool history behind it, so if you care about heritage, Hamilton is a really cool brand. Since, I dress casually most days, I find myself wearing this watch at least a couple times a week, if not more. For the price, it really is one of the best everyday casual watches out there, especially if you like a mechanical watch as opposed to a quartz, and if you like that field watch kind of military aesthetic. This is about as big as I'll go. I definitely wear smaller watches, like 34mm watches, and I would wear a smaller watch than that like a Cartier Tank or something. Now, if you love bigger watches, if you like that over-sized look then, you know, by all means, wear a bigger watch, but if you do have smaller wrists like I do, and you want something that's gonna look proportionate on you, I would stick with something that's like 38mm or smaller. I will link to this watch and all the other watches mentioned in this video, down below in the description. Thanks again to everybody who helped me make this video. Go show these guys some support by subscribing to their channel. Thank you, as always, for watching and until next time, stay stylish! what's up guys my name is Brock you're watching the modest man and today we're talking about some great watches for guys with a smaller wrist okay if you clicked on this video then you might have a smaller wrist like I do but if you're not sure about your wrist size it's a good idea to measure so to measure your wrist you just need a soft tape like a tailor's tape you can also just use a piece of string wrap it around your wrist and then measure that string but you want to wrap it around at the widest part of your wrist right over the bone and then that's your wrist measurement so my wrist is about six and a third inches around at definitely on the slender side I think anything under seven inches could be considered small but if you're like six and a half inches or less I would say that you should stick with smaller sized watches now we talked about watch size we're really talking about the case diameter that's the most important measurement so that's just how big is the case without the lugs or the crown and a small watch could be considered anything that's under 40 millimeters in case diameter I prefer like 38 millimeters or less I'll definitely wear watches there are 36 or 34 millimeters I think those are great sizes I'll be a if you have a smaller wrist I think under 40 millimeters is the way to go so I've asked a few of my fellow youtubers and watch enthusiasts to share some of their favorite watches for smaller wrists under 40 millimeters and then after we hear from them I will share one of my favorite watches for guys with small wrists these are great guys who really know their stuff so if you haven't already checked out their channels definitely go do that hi gentlemen take it away hey gents all feels right in the world when I have a small watch on my wrist at 6 4 and 170 I'm tall and slim but with six and a quarter inch wrists I like something that's a little bit more subtle and elegant my videos on my channel where I talk about my favorite watch my collection which is my 34 millimeter amiga which is a bumper model from the 50s but if you can't go with something that's a little more vintage I have two recommendations for modest wrists number one is from a company called noir green this is the Philosopher's model it's 36 millimeters only at 7. 2 millimeters thick so it has that really nice slim small profile comes in at the $200 price point and it is designed by Jakob Wagner who comes from banging olsen and he also has an exhibit in MoMA it's a quartz movement but it is hackable and so not only do they have several different metals and sizes but they're nice slim and sleek and much better than most of their fashion brands I've come across number 2 is from the Internet's favorite watch brand which is orient this is their stella model at 36 millimeters the list price is 350 it was 210 when I was doing this video is 12. 5 millimeters thick and it has an open heart displaying the F 6022 movement so it's automatic it's hand whining and hackable as well there you have a gents - excellent affordable and modest sized watches for those wrists Thank You Brock for letting me represent tall guys on the modest man if you want to know about the best men's wear on the Internet regardless of height come over to my channel at the Cavalier so next time gents this is the cavalier what's up fellas my name is Baron and I run a men's style website and YouTube channel called effortless gent so my favorite watch in particular for my small wrist is my Rolex date just 1603 oh now I know it's not the most affordable watch but I think if you can only have one really nice versatile watch this is the way to go the 1603 o is a vintage model this is in the early to mid 80s it has a black dial that measures 36 millimeters I think that is the perfect size for smaller wrists my wrist measures six-and-a-half inches around and I think it fits perfectly although if I did have a bigger wrist I wouldn't say that this watch looks terrible on that either I think it's a really handsome watch that will look good even if your wrist is seven pushing seven and a half inches around I think what I love most about this watch is the versatility now I could wear it with jeans and a sweater or on my days off but I could also dress it up with a suit the jubilee bracelet is a really nice touch and just that steel all steel watch with a black dial it just looks really sharp of course many brands like Seiko citizen etc make watches that are very similar very simple steel bracelets with steel casing and a black dial so you don't have to go the Rolex route but I think if you are looking for something that is vintage that will last a long time I think this is the way to go and there are many resources online that you can check out that you can actually buy a vintage Rolex for a relatively affordable price I thought I hope you like my suggestion thank you to Brock for having me in this roundup and if you want to see more videos for me please check out my channel effortless gent what's going on guys Teddy Balthasar here and a big THANK YOU to Bronk for letting me come back on the channel so I have a youtube channel talk all about wristwatches and really the whole goal of it is to just create a new generation of watch lovers so if you want to learn more about launches definitely go over there subscribe I'd really appreciate it so when thinking about watches for smaller wrists this is something I've talked about a good amount I wanted to pick a watch that I personally own and that is the No Mas oh boy neo Matic so my wrist is 6.
