Belgrade Theatre A Look Back
The Belgrade Theatre was built in 1958 as part of the reconstruction of Coventry after the Second World War. The 858 on the main level at both levels continues to be one of the largest regional theatre producers in the UK, 250-300 in the new B2 flexible area.

Belgrade was named for recognition and thanks to a gift from the Serbian capital, Belgrade, which was used to build the hall. The two-story lobby is a mosaic by Martin Froy and a lamp by Bernard Schottlander. During the restructuring in 2006, the lobby was restored to its original state.
