happy birthday kageyama tobio <3

from struggling all by himself to becoming one of the greatest setters to have played the sport. he's been a favorite of mine since the moment i started haikyuu, and he will always be one of my favorite characters. i have so much love for him and i'm glad furudate created such an amazing character. tobio has always been so dedicated to volleyball ever since his grandpa showed him how fun it was. he worked hard every day, learned how to become a team member, grew to become an amazing person, and now can smile freely with his teammates. he has come such a long way. I'm so happy we were able to see his journey. happy birthday tobio <3

Domestic Fluff HinaKage

written for the devoted kghn week day 2: bathing.

Shoyo shouldn't be surprised to see a fancy porcelain bathtub in Kageyama’s apartment in Rome, but here he is. Here they are actually, ready to take a shower together after a day marked by reunions, kisses and hugs that reminiscence of home.

“Come in quickly,” Tobio says, already naked sitting in the bathtub, his voice hoarse from sleep.

Shoyo smiles fondly down at him, untying the towel around his waist until there is no fabric covering him. “I want you to sit on my lap,” he says.

“Why?”

“Because I wanna cuddle!! And I know we both love doing it this way.”

Tobio blushes and pouts, “Just come in already.” He doesn't deny Shoyo’s previous words, so he takes it as one more win for him on their tally.

Shoyo giggles as gets into the bathtub, letting the warm water swallow him up to his abdomen. He reaches out until he can wrap his fingers around Tobio’s wrists, pulling him close and flipping him until his back is pressed against his chest.

Tobio quickly nestles in between Shoyo’s legs without facing him, hanging his head back to lay on his shoulder as his eyelids grow heavy with sleep. Shoyo smiles as his arm winds around Tobio’s waist, holding him tight.

He bends down to press light kisses to his eyelids and scratches Tobio’s scalp with bath foam.

“You'll end up sleeping like this,” he kisses his forehead. “And then, I'm gonna carry you to bed. Again!!!”

Tobio hums, “Yeah.” He nuzzles himself further in Shoyo’s embrace and turns his head to press his lips to his neck—a silent kiss that lasts.

Shoyo sighs in delight. Then, he rests his thumb on Tobio’s chin and angles his head a little, enough so that their lips can meet.

Shoyo gives him the quietest of kisses, and yet one of the most full of sentiments.

He breaks away smiling, hot breath hitting Tobio’s flushed face, sleepy and burning even in the water. Shoyo smiles as he rubs the tips of their noses together, not bothering to keep Tobio in his arms even until he takes him to bed.

They lay down easily afterwards, completely softened by that relaxing bath, both floating in oceanic waters in their dreams as they fall into a peaceful, domestic slumber in which their bodies remain intertwined.

Hi! I’m duckie and I wrote HEADLIGHTS. It’s 21k words about deer, marriage, and kagehina :) if you like haikyuu, proposal fics, psychological horror, and animal metaphors that are beaten into the ground, then maybe you’ll like this! This is the first time I’m sharing my written work on here, so I hope it’s enjoyed!

These two pieces are very near and dear to my heart. I made them when the manga was just closing up and it was pretty emotional for me since I felt like I grew up with these characters.

It's been a while since I've posted here, and I really think it's time I fill out my portfolio with a lot of art I've done in the past that I'm proud of.
