Hey Tumblr, there's a new historical/period comedy series on Netflix which you will love! It's called 1670! It's about Polish nobility and their peasant-thralls. However, Netflix is not promoting it to international audiences, bc it's Polish, even though there are subtitles available in so many languages!

I have been engaging with the FMAbruary prompt challenge over on the sideblog and artblog ~

this piece was so fun to do, and really felt like returning to a form of printmaking. I love block printing and linoprinting and before 2020 I had a business of my own featuring my prints and print services!

I have been playing around with a different style with this piece - much more reminiscent of block printing (a type of printmaking that where you carve away the negative space, leaving the parts of the block that will be inked and pressed to create a print. One of my favorite art forms!). The making of this piece, even digitally, was very similar to how you carve a block.
