I might be biased but I think The Great North season 3 is peak.

Overall the show really came into its own here but specifically the development of individual characters and the relationships between the main 6 really shined. In season 1 and 2 I thought Judy and Moon were kind of weak characters compared to the other Tobins but now that they're getting more dedicated episodes I love what they're doing. I also really love the continuity of certain pairing of characters having developing relationships like Honeybee and Judy becoming closer friends throughout the season.

Season 3 has already given me some of my favorite episodes and I'm really excited to see more of this in 4 and beyond.
