Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

Both of us admins have decided that for the holidays, we are going to be postponing activity checks for a few weeks! We know it can be a hectic time of year, some have multiple places to go for celebrations or some may just have a harder time this year in general due to various things. So we want to make sure everyone has the time to take a break and not have to worry about being online or remembering to send in a hiatus request, etc.

We also have talked about revamping character bios, whether it's making updates to them with any changes they've gone through since they were first brought in or if there's anything you want to reset with your character. Of course, we've both already done this with a few of our own characters, so we welcome anyone else that wants to do so, to just submit whatever changes or updates you'd like to make!

The third and final thing we would like to bring up is potentially changing the name of the town/group. This is due to Admin Laura realizing that there actually is already a place called Bear Creek in PA... not that far from where we have the town set in the group. Though we have ours named Bearcreek (one word) and the actual town that exists in PA is two separate words, it still feels a little too similar. If we do a name change, we will obviously be redoing character card graphics to reflect the new name and may actually do a full re-post of all of our current characters with their new graphics.

With all this said, we again want to wish you all a Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays, to whatever you may celebrate! And we thank you all for being here with us as we head towards the 2nd anniversary of this group being open!

Sorry I lost power for a few days. for Sean what family I'd like to try that who he fit or adopted into?

Sorry to hear about the power outage! From our research on Sean Teale's ethnicity, nothing is super clear cut - like as what percentage Venezuelan, Spanish, Welsh he is, so we think it'd be best for him to be adopted in any of the families that accept adopted siblings! Off the top of my head and given his age and age range he could play, we'd say some options would be Abrams, Anderson, Berry, Cohen-Chang, Duval, Gilbert, Hummel, Jackson, Pierce, or Sylvester!

We answered that one here, actually! Though it's been awhile, so a few other families that we can add onto the list for where she'd fit would be Rose as the wanted half-sibling connection, or other families she could be a half-sibling are Anderson, Fabray, Jackson, Pierce, or Rhodes. Alternatively she could also be an adopted sibling in the Baudelaire, Cohen-Chang, Duval, Gilbert, Hayward, Hummel, Jackson, or Pierce families!

Connection Details: These two were pretty serious, having dated for a few years until earlier this past year. Madeline ended up hooking up with her father’s business partner after their yearly gala (there was always tension there but she never thought anything would actually happen). Immediately she broke up with her boyfriend because she felt guilty for cheating on him but it wasn’t as easy as she made it seem. Whether or not he believes that is up to you, just a basic idea of where they stand! Honestly, we know it's kind of cliche to say, but whichever one you feel the most muse for! The character of Teddy Rhodes has been slightly revamped/retconned. This is only in regards to his occupation - instead of having ever worked at the high school as a music teacher/drama club advisor or working at a used/vintage music store, going forward he's always worked at The Stardust Theater, working his way up to his current title of assistant manager and also teaches a theater class on the weekends, helping out with and being a part of any local theater shows that are put on.
