If you are looking for good Machinima's to watch geuininely take a look at Crash and Life is a Table. I promise you will NOT be disappointed. (Life is a Table is a little insane in season 1, honestly it's insane the whole time but it's geuininely so fucking good)

I'm not a huge fan of comparing halo Machinima's to rvb, but yeah it definitely filled some of the hole left by rvb I think.

The most important thing is that these Machinima's will have you laughing, growing invested and geuininely asking yourself

Has anyone gone through and listened to all the drafts and scrapped music on the albums recovery I and II because I just did (it's out by the way)

And I have so many questions. I spent a whole at least 5 hour call with my partner analysing and theorising about them.

Because the use of motifs and references to other songs and styles of music so important to other seasons had me tripping.

Trocadero has such a beautiful way of writing music that allows you to immediately associate a song with a character (or multiple) and different seasons.

Sometimes these can just be musical references but they actually mean a LOT.

Which has me theorising like crazy.

Especially since some of the repeated or referenced motifs were both versions of the 'metas' them (the actual theme associated with him and the one that's more or less just used as a danger theme during the series.

And elements of 'Searchlights' which if you know the track is often played during darker moments (most of the time related to epsilon, and really mostly used during season 8)

I love how the "danger theme" changes with seasons. Like how in the chorus trilogy we come to associate Locus's sting with danger and obviously with him.

But the fact that one of the drafts or scrapped songs had a build up, with elements of locus's musical motif before shifting into the Meta's theme then going into a mix of the two

Has me thinking that Locus obsession with the Meta may have originally taken a completely different turn. What if he wore the suit?

This has me losing my mind currently

(also the scrapped songs for season 14 sound like they could have been from club or we could have gotten a club Errera episode with York and Carolina? There's also just a super interesting song that shifts through multiple different music styles and has me questioning what it would have been for)

Maybe some of these were in the show and I missed them but please I need to talk to SOMEONE about this.

Okay so as of now I've downloaded as much of the red vs blue soundtrack as I can but I'm genuinely missing a heap. I don't have any of season 15 upwards and it's freaking me out

All the music has been taken off of YouTube and Spotify as well as apple music (yes the stuff people paid for.)

Trocadero is working to re-upload a lot of their songs but I have no idea about any of the others or if they even could.

I believe RWBY music is also gone as well

If ANYONE has any drives or back ups or anything that they could lead me to copy or something I'd greatly appreciate and if anyone's looking for audio files of these songs I do have some!

I don't know if this is a huge deal but it is to me.

The type of guy to make a minor spelling mistake delete the text and respond with

Every text conversation with him feels either like, your dad texting you or like you are about to die and never be found.

the thing about wash is--look, it's a well documented phenomenon by now that he texts like he's fucking 60 years old. If he isn't using text to speech, he's out here with proper capitalization, punctuation, goes out of his way to ensure that there are no typos, and it makes him look like someone's dad.

The thing I think a lot of people get wrong here though is that it is 100% a deliberate choice. We all saw pfl!era wash, there is no way that that man texted like that with the alpha team. theres just no way

Okay I've also been thinking about the energy sword patterns and stuff recently. I'm in love with the idea that it's almost like lighting in the way that it feels when you first get it.

As soon as you pick it up it's almost like it immediately envelops you and sinks into your blood.

It's a part of you indefinitely.

When I was coming up with ideas for designs I decided to use animal symbolism for some reason? And i also decided to use the Sangheili symbol for energy sword as the general basis for the patterns.

Although i really do like some other pattern ideas I've seen and I'm overall just torn.

Also back to the idea that it's a part of you when the bonded, chosen whatever, is to die the patterns remain and just dull, whereas usually they glow.

I personally also have it, for tucker at least, that his eyes are now aqua instead of brown, maybe I'll make it that it happens to all sword users

Or maybe it's an overtime thing.

Idk it's interesting to me and I think it's cool when it's more than a cosmetic thing. Also the thought of the progression of "found this kickass sword today in a hole and suddenly felt searing pain :/ now I'm covered in this cool ass patterns" to "okay my eyes are different colours and I think the blood in my body is glowing blueish green"

I made a comment years ago basically a whole big ramble and love letter to the show and I met a bunch of people who added on to it saying what the show meant to them as well.

Seriously a bummer that it's all gone now. I remember asking questions and talking theories in some of the videos. People for some reason years later actually answered my questions.
