still needing emergency funds

Hello again friends,

I cannot begin to thank the people who donated enough to get my roommate home. We’re both so grateful. However, we’re still in need of her half of the rent for this month.

Additionally, the place I had ordered my brother’s Christmas gift from decided to charge me 3 months later with no warning, which puts me back personally $90 towards my portion of rent.

All together, we’re looking at needing $750 to cover late fees, cashier’s check costs, and the rent itself. And we need it by Saturday, or the complex will charge an additional $75 the first day and then $10 each day after, leading to eviction if we don’t make it.

I know that’s a lot to ask. We both do. But we’ve exhausted all of our other resources and I’m out of things to sell. I tried to get an advance on my pay at work, but they wouldn’t allow it.
