Note
Many of the people I have talked to interested in collecting cards have expressed that it is difficult to communicate with others about which version of the card they're buying / trading for. I'm actually working with a new WPN store in my small town, and the owner is having a tough time sorting out the new versions of singles for newer sets. I would say if a standard foil does not count as a version, no more than one alternate version for a card.
I think Magic's Era of Variants has swung the pendulum too far, and incurred costs to the health of the game that were not foreseen by WotC. Is there any sign of the pendulum swinging back, or are we stuck in this timeline?
We're constantly making adjustments. How many variants do people think are correct for a card that has variants?

1.) Not necessarily, but I don't really mind, Provided: 2.) They're done in the way the godzilla cards were done, and are not mechanically unique when they're tied to a license.
I’ve been getting a lot of feedback today. I’d like to ask the following two questions:
1) Would you like to see Magic have cards with other IPs on them, yes or no?
2) If, yes, how would you like us to do them?
