i bet you're the only one who can answer me. why does damian have long hair in the comics and then short hair? did he cut his hair before visiting adam and then grew his hair out? and cut again before the start of the game? what the hell is wrong with his hairstyle?!

whoop these are probably ancient but here we go. i should be ashamed that i can 360 noscope exactly which chapter each of these happen at but womp whomp.

i don't think we're ever given a reason as to why damian cuts his hair, but he has like... three haircuts?

his hair is almost to his shoulders in prison. we see this in issue 1.

after talia breaks him out it's cut shorter. about to his earlobes. this debuts at around issue 13 and lasts until he visits khandaq.

before he visits adam it's cut even shorter. this debuts in issue 25.

then it's grown out to the issue 13 length again by the time the gorilla city stuff happens.

and then his injustice 2 is that issue 25 look again.

i think the best answer is: the artists were on different pages when it came to his design.

but that's not a fun answer. i think a more fun answer is: talia cut damian's hair when she retrieved him. then damian cut his hair again after bruce broke his arm because it was too much of a pain in the ass to maintain it when it was longer.

he started growing it out again after meeting kara. and it was cut short again when he went back into prison.

i personally headcanon that he keeps it long because he'd rather look like his mother than his father.
