What if I made this blog double as an ask blog for the Bass of this AU? What do you guys think?

I thought it would be cute and kind of funny if Bass had a shirt that said "Bass", but it's the symbol, so that's why I made that design choice.

Occupation: Lab assistant like Rock

Hobbies: Listening to music and playing sports

Extra information: Bass is a very hard worker, but he can be a bit lazy sometimes. He loves music just like his father, in fact he loves it so much he could spend an entire day listening to it through his headphones. He almost always has music on when he's working, sometimes so loud that he can't hear anybody else! Bass can also be a little reckless at times; he's accidentally broken a lot of windows in the past! He's not perfect, but Dr. Light loves him just the way he is and just as much as his other siblings. Unfortunately, Bass doesn't understand this.

This is the design I've come up with for Bass along with a little information about him. I know it's hard to tell, but the symbol on his shirt is a Bass clef, which looks like this: 𝄢. I thought that since Dr. Light is such a music nerd he'd give Bass a shirt like that, plus there's the fact that one time Rock wore a shirt that literally says "Rock" on it. I don't know if this should be the main outfit he wears or if it should be a different outfit. What do you guys think?

I've been thinking of a design for Bass's regular outfit for a while and I think I've come with one now! I'm going to draw it and then post it here very soon!

Here's a bigger picture of the icon so it's easier to see! It's just a quick little edit to show what Bass looks like in this AU, and of course this is before he joins Dr. Wily and gets remodeled. He never did have this armor before he joined Dr. Wily, but I wanted to make an icon quickly so it just edited his face in this picture. Later I'm going to change it into a drawing I'll make soon that is more accurate, with Bass wearing regular clothing and no helmet so you can see his hair.

Alright Bass AU Time!

Ok so what if Bass was built by Dr. Light instead of Dr. Wily, making Bass and Rock brothers? I imagine that he would have blue eyes instead since most of Light's robots do and because Rock and Roll have blue eyes. He also wouldn't have his stripes because that isn't really Light's style. Bass would have a regular outfit like Rock and Roll do and hair, which I decided would be either black or dark brown and look kind of like Rock's hair but spikier and messier. So here's the story: Bass was built not too long before Rock and Roll and he never knew Blues because he was built after Blues ran away. So Bass was the only kid until his younger siblings arrived and he gets really jealous of Rock since he's the "good son" and seems to get more attention and praise from Dr. Light and everyone else. Not to mention that Rock is the hero and he's not. He wants validation so he decides to become a hero alongside Rock but he just isn't that good at it because of his personality and his overall motive. This just makes him get even more upset because now he's humiliating himself right in front of his "perfect" little brother and now everyone probably thinks he's more pathetic than ever. When it's finally the last straw for him, he runs away and ends up meeting Dr. Wily, who tells him that he can make him even stronger and that he could make his family and the world pay for the way they treated him. After that he gets remodeled by Wily into his trademark armor, stripes, and eye color that he has in canon and makes his shocking return by the events of Megaman 7. Megaman and Bass from that point on have about the same rivalry that they do in canon, except now there is that added layer that they are brothers split between the light side and the dark side.
