Most of us are guilty of hanging on to clutter, but as a coach, this can overcomplicate practice. Good coaches throw away old offenses, defenses, and drills, or at least keep them in storage. They appreciate that the team doesn’t need to have dozens of offenses, quick hitters or out of bound plays, as it’s likely that the team won’t remember or use them.
