One of my closest friends is moving to İstanbul this week for her university and I’ve been running around helping her. On a personal note, there is still sometime until my school will open so I’ve been mostly sleeping and reading my old notes.

Friday 20th of August, 2021: i can now say two sentences in norwegian. hooray? found basic vocabulary and grammar online, which is really going to help in the long run. i also bought a few other school supplies with my grandmother. i've read up on nordic creationism! it's an interesting read and i might make a post about it? i like telling stories, i think it could be fun.

19th August - What is your go-to summer outfit? shorts and t-shirts. no shoes if i can help it.

20th August - Do you like wearing sunglasses? i do, they're great for reading and make me look badass, but my vision is terrible and getting prescriptions ones is a Pain.

I find these carrels with views over Bloomsbury completely irresistible. I had a really productive morning here looking through philosophy periodicals (and daydreaming about living in those terraces)

8/9/2021 // keep holding on // 3 days to go

Very tired. I have the state exam tomorrow, defense on Friday, so almost there. Almost! I think I'm prepared enough, they shouldn't brutally surprise me with anything, so hopefully it'll all go well. I'm getting my opponent's review today, fingers crossed!

Getting ready for an online meeting for my future nursing school! (well hopefully my future nursing school 🤞)

Also- taking votes, should I go to sleep when I’m planning on getting up at 3:30 AM for a flight? current leaning is just stay up because… well otherwise I’d just take a short nap

🧿 feeling frustrated and sad because exams might be cancelled again. i already have a plan if they'll cancel again but, im just sad because having that license is also a part of my goal and i might not be able to have it.

really hoping that they'll find another way of administering exams safely. they can't just keep canceling exams. it's been 2 years already. the examinees already did their part. everyone knows it's still not safe but, there's gotta be another way. i just feel like they're expecting so much from us but then... * sighs *

soz for the negative energy. it's just really frustrating to think that i wont be able to have that license.

After I handed in my final piece of coursework for my degree in creative and professional writing in May, I was hit with the worst writer’s block I’ve ever had. But now I’m back in my happy place. I’m writing again. I hope you’re all doing well! Take care of yourselves 💙

100 days of productivity - day 2/100 (29/06/21)

Didn’t get as much done as I hoped, it seems as if my brain and body have realised that I’m finally on holiday and just went “nope that’s it we’re done”, so I’m trying to take care and rest. (I went to bed at 8pm tonight and ngl it’s delightful to just read and relax)

But I did get a few things done:

Visited the permanent exhibition at the British Library (I love all the free museums that London has!). And the exhibition was wonderful. I did say I was trash for museums (and have another one on the list for tomorrow!)

Read some more of the Fellowship of the Ring

Cleaned the oven and microwave (as glamorous as you think it would be)
