hey what if rouge died in ep 5 instead of gambit?

I've thought about this! I actually have a couple of sketches where Gambit is holding a broken Rogue in his arms. One of the sketches became the Deathbit holding Rogue drawing.

I decided I wanted to do a composition that more closely mirrored the 97 scene with Rogue holding Gambit. However I haven't gotten a sketch to a place where I'm happy with it.

It's an idea I fully intend to circle back to though! Such a perfect "what if" opportunity ripe with angst.
