In January 1949, Lieutenant General KM Kariyappa celebrated Army Day on January 15 to appoint General Commander-in-Chief of India from General Sir Francis Butcher. Janal Bipin Rawat has three armed forces - Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Thanks to the air force for their full cooperation.
