A quick little something I knocked together, the patented tragic backstory generator ™ is the easiest way to give your character a mythically horrible origin.
(actual tragedy may vary, results are final and non-negotiable, i am not responsible for any tears you may shed while imagining the sad life your character must have led up to this point)

💎 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗺! Cleaning Cube Wondrous item, common ___
This Tiny, sentient piece of an enchanted gelatinous cube is harmlessly soapy, instead of acidic, and enjoys cleaning the surfaces it travels across. When found, the "cleaning cube" is a dehydrated, 2-inch cube. While dehydrated, the cube is inanimate and its weight is negligible. You can place the dehydrated cube in 1 or more gallons of water as an action, causing it to animate and grow in size to become a 1-foot cube that weighs 6 pounds. The rehydrated cube moves slowly while animated in this way, methodically cleaning objects and surfaces it comes into contact with. The cube remains hydrated for up to 8 hours, but can be squeezed as an action (as if it were a sponge) to dehydrate it again early.
The "cleaning cube" is considered a magical object and is not a creature. It has a speed of 1 foot and can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check. It has AC 10, 10 hit points, and has resistance to all damage. The cube dehydrates when it drops to 0 hit points, but regains all its hit points when hydrated again.
𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚. The "cleaning cube" is a sentient unaligned item with an Intelligence of 1, a Wisdom of 6, and a Charisma of 1. It has hearing and blindsight out to a range of 60 feet. It can’t speak or read, but obeys your commands as best as it can understand them.
𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮. The "cleaning cube" is happiest finding and dissolving dirt and other grime, and enjoys the feeling of moving across clean, polished surfaces. It doesn’t concern itself with combat, preferring to continue its cleaning instead of involving itself in confrontation. If the cube finds a stray coin, gemstone, or other similar small item out of place while it cleans, it will absorb and clean the item until it’s removed by a creature as an action or until it becomes dehydrated once again. ___

Last year I began something special, a tradition I’m now going to continue. I decided I wanted to release something big and horror themed every year for Halloween. This is the continuation of that new tradition. For a long time I’ve had some disdain for necromancers for the simple reason that I find them boring. To me, nothing short of a full class can do them justice. But that said, many who know me know I love anything that can be customized. So I thought, hey, why not be able to frankenstien your undead from scratch to create something truly horrific? Now I know @dm-clockwork-dragon ‘s Necroficer did this already, but mine is almost completely different mechanically, thought I do admit to took a little inspiration from his class. But enough rambling. After almost 2 years in the making, the Corpseweaver is here ready to bring your nightmares to life.
Oh, and before I forget, if you’re looking for inspiration for your own amalgams I’ve compiled a folder on my Google Drive with 80+ images of horrifying monstrosities for you guys to behold!
You can find a full PDF of this and all of my other content on my GDrive.

I saw some talk by people wondering if you should keep track of food and torches and other things like that or if you should just rule it all away and I say poppycock! Let your lowbies struggle and let your more experienced players pass on the weak stuff with this non-magical bag of magically useful items. Indestructible bedroll? Check. Infinite torch? Check. Food and water forever? Checkity-check. L O N G B O I rope? Do you even need to ask? When your players level up from the first tier of adventuring, acquiring things like this and bags of holding are like a right of passage. Let them feel like they’re making progress! Is it better as a player to have everything handwaved or to struggle through it and then get an item that lets your circumvent those problems? The answer is pretty clear to me. As always, questions and comments are welcome. I’d love to hear your thoughts!

That’s a LOT of class options
I thought I’d take a second to put together all of the classes, class rebuilds, and class archetypes I’ve made so far to make it easy to look them over at a glance and linked for your convenience, and it turns out there are a lot lol. I hope putting them here helps make it easier to find content that you’ll be interested in since it can be a pain to go back through my old, old content to find things. Hey!! I am making my own SH homebrew! Do you mind if I use your statblocks as inspiriation for my own monster statblocks?
Go ahead. I don’t want to claim a monopoly on the very niche industry of Silent Hill Dungeons & Dragons 5e Homebrew.

Non-Boring Environments that need Fantasy Representation
Tropical Rainforests
Scrubland/Dry Forests. For extra effect make them the sort that burn very often; some native plants never germinate until after a fire, and some animals not only rely on fire to smoke out prey, but may even start them themselves.
Savannas/Tropical Grasslands
Temperate Rainforests. I almost didn’t include this bc New Zealand is covered in them, and that’s where they filmed Lord of the Rings. But tbh, no one really knows about them, so it belongs here
Taiga Forests
Barren Tundra, perfect for some extreme seasonal dichotomy
Polar Ice Sheets
Desert-Grasslands (arguably the same as Scrubland but Australia’s good at adding its own twists)
Barren Desert
If you like Cacti, look at American Deserts like the Sonoran
Salt Flats
Soda Lakes and Alkaline Lakes
Madagascar’s Karst Limestone Formations
Madagascar’s Spiny Forests
Madagascar’s Baobab Forests
Madagascar’s Subhumid Forests (Madagascar is cool as hell ok)
Danxia Landforms
Badlands/Mountainous Deserts
Steppes and Highland Prairies
Flood Basalts
Newly-Formed Islands, still rife with Volcanic activity
Now for Underwater Environments, sure Coral Reefs are cool.
But there are SO MANY other kinds of environments for aquatic settings, it’s unbelievable:
Seaside Cliffs
Archipelagos. Not just Tropical Island chains like Polynesia (Moana anyone?) but also Coldwater Archipelagos like the Aleutians.
Tidal Flats
Bayous/Cypress Swamps
Tropical River Basins, AKA Seasonally Flooded Rainforests
Mangrove Swamps/Deltas/Beaches
Kelp Forests
The Open Ocean
Coastal Seabeds
Rocky Beaches with Tidepools
And there are a LOT more I could name but this post is already obscenely long as is, if you’d like to toss in your own go right ahead, but my point is if you limit yourself to European Deciduous Forests you’re a wimp.
