In fact, you might not even know what a menstrual cup is or you’ve only heard about it from the internet, or that one friend who has a menstrual cup and won’t shut up about it. If the last scenario is familiar to you, you should probably know that this friend has a pretty good reason to be amped.

Menstrual cups aren’t for everyone–I, myself, am reluctant to give up tampons–but they’re definitely something you should know about, especially if it has the potential to change the ease of your period.
