The three macronutrients are protein, fat, and carbs and so many diets try to cut out or reduce one of these things to help you lose weight and I’ve kinda fallen for that rhetoric a bit myself unfortunately.

Lately though I’ve tried to make sure I’ve got all three in everything I eat. I mean everything. Including little snacks and desserts. And? I’m eating less and still feeling full? Weird how not depriving yourself of a thing you need works better than trying to get rid of carbs or fat.

Reminder to multigender people (and trans people in general, but this came up on the multigender survey so I'm addressing multigender people in particular) that you can't "transition to become intersex." You can absolutely transition to have mixed sex characteristics, or both a penis and a vagina, or whatever other transition is best for you, but if you're not intersex you shouldn't refer to yourself that way. Intersex people have repeatedly explained that it's inaccurate and offensive to claim you're "transitioning to intersex," don't do that.

My high school genders their graduation gowns. White for girls and red for boys. I’m so frustrated. I genuinely feel like ripping my hair out.

I almost want to wear pink. Or green. Or any other color that isn’t red or white. But I’m scared they wouldn’t let me walk up and collect my diploma. That they would kick me out.

I want to celebrate finally graduating as myself. Not as a censored facsimile of myself.
