RESULTS: October 2017 ECE ECT Board Exam List of Passers

MANILA, Philippines – The October 2017 Electronics Engineer (ECE) and Electronics Technician (ECT) board exam results including the full list of passers, top 10 examinees, top performing and overall performance summary of schools, among related announcements are available at this website as PRC releases the results online on October 27, 2017 or four (4) working days after the last day of board examination.

As announced, 2,235 out of 4,784 passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination and 2,916 out of 3,258 passed the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination.

Paper Vendo Machine.

Solar powered paper vendo machine with a dual way of paying. You can use money to have your desired paper in the machine (short bond paper, long bond paper, oslo, A4, yellowpad, etc.) or pay your item using recyclable materials like plastic bottle and scratch (used papers). Plastic bottles are placed in the compartment of the machine and under press-process using a high power hydraulic compressor. Used papers are measured by digital weighing scale. Different scale of plastic bottles and used papers placed has a corresponding amount of paper to be deposited. It is also have a dual way of power, solar and electrical plug. UPS-Uninterruptible Power Supply was installed for this machine to ensure its functionality in case of electrical black out.

I CHOOSE YOU!

TUMBLR over WEBSITE BUILDER.COM

Why? Due to my personal experience while creating my own site (blog), I am much more familiar in tumblr rather than other website builders. I’ve been using tumblr since 2013 as my personal blog and its user interface is very user-friendly for me, again for me. Tumblr also helps the user to be attached in other blogs that can be useful for some sort of technical and common information. It is also advisable to be used by a newbie or beginner who wants to be familiarized with html/css codes prior creating advance blog/site.

But,

During my observation, other website builders are also like Tumblr who promotes and helps beginners to have a massive knowledge and familiarization in html codes. I am not saying that my second builder (WEBSITE BUILDER.COM) is not a user friendly at all. Actually this builder offers drag and drop function for more easier and faster work but I just loved the way tumblr offers me to create my own site.

In other hand, I will recommend website builder.com to be used by someone who wants to have their own site as easier and as faster as they want.

DUAL BOOTING

Can't decide whether you want to dual boot that second OS or virtualize it? Debate no more: you can have both. Here's how to dual boot and virtualize the same partition on your Windows PC or Mac. Once you're finished, you'll be able to reboot into your secondary OS and run it natively, or run it in your favorite virtualization program without having to reboot. You'll get the best of both worlds and you'll never have to decide between the two again.

But how?

You need to run Oracle Virtual Box, choose which OS are you gonna install first in your virtual environment.

After choosing (e.g you choose windows first then Linux) install Windows by setting your desire RAM at least 1.5GB and ROM at 20 GB.

Prior installing your first OS, never forget to partition your memory for your another desired OS. Your reserved memory will be used later for your next OS.

After installing windows, check its functionality then turn off your virtual environment.

Next, insert another ISO for your next OS in oracle to begin your next installation in your same virtual environment. 

Install Linux in the reserved memory to avoid replacement of your first working OS. NOTE: If you install your second OS in the used memory you will restart your session in step number 1.

After of the installation, check its functionality then turn off your virtual environment.

Upon opening your “dual boot” virtual environment, remove first the placed ISO in virtual drive to avoid re-installing your OS.

TADUUUUH! You now have your DUAL BOOT Virtual Environment.

LINUX VS. WINDOWS

Linux and Windows are two different types of operating systems. Linux is the most popular operating system for web servers. Since Linux-based hosting is more popular, it has more of the features web designers expect.  So unless you have websites which need specific Windows applications, Linux is the preferred choice.

WHAT IS LINUX?

VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Not only is VirtualBox an extremely feature rich, high performance product for enterprise customers, it is also the only professional solution that is freely available as Open Source Software under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2.
