Do y'all (folk with brain fog/ bad memory) care about rep for that condition / symptom specifically? I'm writing and included that a character has a bad memory without even thinking about it, but now I'm not sure if I should keep it in since it doesn't really come to anything with the story. I'll edit it all down either way, I'm just not sure how much will change or if I should cut it completely. He has chronic pain which is gonna get worse with the story and does tie in, and realistically so would his memory and ability to retain things since that's how pain works with brain fog- I just don't know if I want that to take the focus. I'm worried it will draw away from other more important points. What do you think? (Ik I'm being vague, it's still early days for the work and don't want to go into unnecessary details or you'll be stuck reading this post all day and never get to the poll)

The older generation's fixation on forcing you to have kids is something they absolutely refuse to unlearn. Happy first day. Zionism (a form of white supremacy & anti-semitism) has been at its worst this past year during the active violent genocide & ethnic cleansing of Palestine, & I'd like to talk about what Hanukkah actually is- not what the zionists teach 🕎

First, I'd like to say for anyone who doesn't know, I'm a convert. I wasn't born Jewish. But several years ago I started my conversion & can now comfortably call myself Jewish. There are things I don't know, but I am an active partisan & have gone through the steps.

Hanukkah for me is a holiday namely about perseverance. While if you've ever read any zion interpretation they talk about it like it's a "routing of a foul outside evil from the land Israel". The story is about persecution & resistance, not Israel.

For those who don't know: Hanukkah is the 8 day celebration of when a group of Jews holed up in a temple & survived a siege. While they were trapped, the oil that they though would last the temple candle 1 day burned for 8, which was a symbol of hope

& that's what it's about. Zions want everything to be about the land they call Israel but is actually, & has always been, Palestine, 'cause they feel that's the only way they can legitimize their actions. But there is no legitimate justification for genocide.

& that is what the zionists have perpetrated against the native Palestinians since the Nakba when they settled their colony. So when you're lighting the menorah & saying the prayers this year, or enjoying time with your family, or celebrating any holiday

spare a thought for the hundreds of thousands of people that Israel has killed this last year in all of the surrounding countries. A thought for the millions displaced, now & 90 years ago. The millions dead in that time.

Don't prop up zion propaganda, whether it be about Judaism & our holidays as a justification, or about the people who they are murdering. Send whatever help you can & keep paying attention. Because if we keep ignoring what they're doing they're just going to do it more.

Hanukkah is a holiday about hope & I hope for change, for a fall of all empires including America & their colony Israel. They can't continue to harm people forever & the genocide has an end date. Palestine will be free, in our life time. God willing in 2025. Happy holidays ❤️
